Just going on record here and saying that as a 3 year old boy, I did watch Strawberry Shortcake. Over the years, I did accumulate some toys, which my daughter has stolen, along with every trace of Rainbow Brite, Trolls and Fraggle Rock... among others.
Was it planned for the two of you to brush your hair back at the same time and same motion? I had to go back and make sure that was what I saw. LOL
You're right they did brush their hair back at the same time...lol...that was pretty funny. I think it was just a coincidence.
Muriel was delightful, a true gem! No wonder Strawberry Shortcake is so cute! I love that you watched her and collected awesome toys. Sounds like your daughter is being raised right, ha! Aside from my kids, I have three real obsessions in life... Life between 1980 and 1995, Mcdonald's and Christmas. So, as a single parent, I think with them being there as I watched decades worth of old cartoons and TV shows, then going with me as I hunted down old toys... Somehow I managed to be a good influence on the two of them. 😁

It was a wonderful event, loved meeting her! We didn't have to buy tickets for the meet-and-greet. I recommend following her on social media. She's very active and does lots of fun events like this.

I wonder if they have something like this for the characters rainbow brite and star stealer, that would be totally rad dude.❤
Hmm... I don't know much about Rainbow Brite, so I did a bit of research and learned that the original Rainbow Brite was first designed by artist G.G. Santiago. The products and characters were then developed by a team of artists at Hallmark in 1984. My guess is that Rainbow Brite and Star Stealer were designed to compete with Strawberry Shortcake and Care Bears, both of which were produced by American Greetings. It looks like the artist G.G. Santiago went on to create figurines, jewelry, and other collectibles (besides her Rainbow Brite character.) They appear to be available on Ebay, but I don't see where she does personal appearances. That would be fun though!
I want to ask her if Strawberry was the one for Huckleberry or Blueberry? I ship him with Strawberry Shortcake.

Strawberry Shortcake and the great battle of the Lord of Fruits
Story: It all starts in Strawberryland where Strawberry Shortcake and her friends Lemon Drop, Blackberry, Orange, Plum and Raspberry Butterfly were walking through the park. Until the evil Faust known as Lord of Fruits decides to steal fruits from another time. Strawberry Shortcake and her friends come face to face with the evil Fausto. They head to the time portal. Strawberry Shortcake and her friends arrive in the modern city Coração de Bibi where a beautiful young man named Daniel Carter lives. Daniel is the son of pastry chefs Elias and Alice. Daniel has four friends named:
Gustavo Miller (son of bakers Mauricio and Renata)
Fernanda (daughter of beauty salon owners: Paulo and Julia Porter)
Marcelo Gouveia (son of blacksmiths Livia and Eduardo)
Leticia Maguire (daughter of engineers Flávio and Regina)
Meanwhile, Strawberry Shortcake and her friends discover that the fruits have disappeared from the city. They are found by Daniel and his friends. Strawberry Shortcake and her friends tell the story to Daniel and his friends. Daniel and his friends begin to meet Strawberry Shortcake and her friends and promise to help them. They are happy with the support of Daniel and his friends. Daniel's families and friends realize that the fruits have disappeared. Daniel and his friends tell the story to their parents. They are happy with their parents' support. Daniel's families and his friends meet Moranguinho and his friends. The Fruit Lord creates several obstacles for Strawberry Shortcake and his allies. Strawberry Shortcake and her friends overcome the various obstacles created by the villain. Strawberry Shortcake and his friends arrive at the villain's hideout. They fight the villain. Strawberry Shortcake and his friends defeat the villain. The Fruit Lord ends his days in prison. Strawberry Shortcake and his friends find the fruits and return the fruits to the whole city. Strawberry Shortcake and Lemon Drop are adopted by Daniel's family. Amora Linda is adopted by Gustavo's family. Laranjinha is adopted by Fernanda's family. Ameixinha is adopted by Marcelo's family. Raspberry Lock is adopted by Leticia's family. Strawberry Shortcake and her friends decide to live in modern times with their new families. They hide the time crystal in a safe place. Strawberry Shortcake and his friends throw a beautiful victory party to celebrate that the world and all fruits are saved. End
