Using Fusion as my very first compositor was a huge deal. I didn’t realize how difficult it could be to learn how to use nodes if you’re used to layers first. Not having to make that mindset shift was a huge advantage
Dear sir you have taught so many times about fusion. We know how does fusion work. We wanna know about nodes. So If possible please make a detailed video about some important nodes. By the way , Love you, and your way of teaching is amazing. ❤❤❤
I've been using resolve and have started playing with fusion for motion graphics, thanks to all your videos👍I know what i want to achieve, i just struggle sometimes😃
Thanks my friend, Dr Fusion said that, you are running out of videos that continue to explain, the basic theories of the program, he thinks, it's time to step it up and I agree 100%
Great Explanation!! As a motion graphic hobby enthusiast I just might have to look into your free Fusion 9 node course. I normally use Pr and AE so it would be interesting to see how Fusion's workflow measures up. Keep up the great work!! Have liked and subscribed.
Fusion Comp using a PNG file as the foundation ... this image is sprinkled through a project in several Fusion comps. Ooops, there is an error in the image of the PNG file. Open PNG file in a photo editor, fix error. In DaVinci, go to Media page, replace clip with edited clip. Now a bunch of the Fusion comps do not work right ... UNTIL you open each one individually. This seemed to heal it.
I think you've convinced me to switch to Davinci Resolve. Exactly because of the Nodes which I know from Blender. (Ever since I was introduced into Nodes, I wished that apps like Photoshop support nodes too... so much easier... (ok, I'm a developer, so makes sense... LUL )
Fusion is gross and over complicated and confusing when you're new to it but once you learn the basics, it's the best thing in the world and you'll use it for everything.
Fusion and resolve need some clean up and updates! Been needing that for years but we can't do anything about it since we only paid once. I love DR, but it needs work.
Oh man, it just clicked for me with this video. Amazing overview! How dp you manage your assets when using media like the sunglasses/train example? Do you have a "VFX Assets" folder of sorts inside of your project folder?
Could you please prepare a full course tutorial video on motion graphics and vfx from scratch in fusion. I mean a beginner to advanced level thing. Even if its a paid course I would like to buy it, please reply 🙏🙏❤️❤️
Ya know I just haven't found a compelling reason to do so. I just never use standalone, and I've really tried to be a cool kid and get into it, but... I don't see the point of it.
@@CaseyFaris Well for me, it's a lot faster and takes a fraction of ram when working and it also works a lot better when I'm working on bigger dedicated comps especially working with CG-live action comps and also the standalone version has the primatte keyer and also unlimited render nodes but I can understand it's not gonna be necessary for majority of people.
Well, I just got this program. I got all my bins made put appropriate media in them. I edited for a bit and decided to restart. I restarted and now all those bin are gone???? So, it doesn't save over to the next project? Now I have to set it up again...I'm a noob..
Check out the FREE 9 Nodes course: www.groundcontrol.film/9-nodes-workshop
What is Fusion? It's a rabbit hole! That's what it is! Once you enter ... you, and all your friends, may never see one another EVER again! 🤣
Omg that sunglass comp was so clean!!! Excellent video as always
It's great, but the reflections part is missed
Dr Fusion is the coolest.

You need to check out his 9 nodes free course. It’s excellent.
@@DanBernard317 thanks man
Casey, one must learn "Nodes" if they want to Color Correct as well....
I’m a beginner and I appreciate this video
Sir please make a video for some new and unique node

My life changed when in one video you stated the blue input means "only do it here"
The Mad Scientist should be a regular in all future videos
- maybe in B&W and different aspect ratio??
👍 😎 🤙

EXCELLENT
I Want To Learn
More Input...
in your course, do you learn to build buildings like the one in the picture 1:13 ?
Fusion is gross and over complicated and confusing when you're new to it but once you learn the basics, it's the best thing in the world and you'll use it for everything.
My man!
You're the best.
I have a blast of fun, and challenge, working in the 3d workspace of fusion with 360 video.
Awesome 👍👍👍👍
Hello Casey!
I observed similarity in node of fusion and effects in edite page can you explain difference between them!
Fusion and resolve need some clean up and updates! Been needing that for years but we can't do anything about it since we only paid once.
I love DR, but it needs work.
At 8:57. I think you forgot to add a link to the "Food Metaphor" video.

The course is called Fusion Zero to Hero its perfect!

@@CaseyFaris thanks a lot man❤️❤️
Would Fusion be used to create the high end motion graphics we saw during the Superbowl, as an example.
yes, it has been used in 1000s of hollywood movies for both compositing and motion graphics such as huds in avatar 1.
Do you have a video on understanding nodes for people stuck in layers like me?
Yes! Check out my recent Toast video!
Wow! Master
You should do Fusion Studio tutorials sometimes in future.

You're looking for power bins. Google that, and you can set them up. Regular bins are specific to that project.
What mic are you using when recording the RUclips videos?
It's an audio technica broadcast mic they don't sell anymore. They have one that's like a podcaster mic or something that looks similar tho.
hey casey can you make a hologram brain in fusion ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Does Dr Fusion need any interns? I wanna work in that lab
First to comment, Love from Gambia.
Fusion: it’s a thing that I avoid touching 😂
Sweet
👍👍
What is Fusion, how do you use Nodes, fuck man! It's a mystery! It's a mystery wrapped in a riddle inside an enigma!
