I've been transitioning into production with a partner of mine, and it's an entirely different world... different clients... and different sound all together... I still Love DJing and Sound Culture, but this Production side keeps me busy.. and I love it.
I was very pleased to see this video. Prior to covid we went three years in a row to enjoy Poison Dart's music at an annual fund raising dinner in Tampa. Poison Dart demonstrated their versatility by keeping a senior group on the dance floor all night. If I had a question about their equipment etc. The questions were always answered in a pleasant manner. I wish you continued success.
I am very glad that i watched this interview. It teach me a lot about humility and perseverance. I still have my poison dart cassette them on lock. But I totally agree that the current state of dancehall and dub-plates and cost factors and shows, will only last for those that have the unlimited funds to maintain it. With this interview, now I understand the importance of pro tools and the equipment needed to transcend to stadiums and arenas. This is a Documentary bro nice history of the bad sound. Love the facts about collecting dubplates, it takes awhile to learn that there's no big return from investing in dubs if any at all but those who know has gained tremendous knowledge that there's other areas of the business to make real profits.
