Advice for race-cation from a recent IM Boulder, CO. As a Brit who loves his food, I very recently got lured in by the delights of the local food scene and was violently sick on Friday night and recovering on Saturday after over indulging! Still, managed to get around in one piece Sunday. That really wasn't the plan so even if it does go south, don't panic!
Prefect! Planning on doing my first sprint race of the year this Saturday, so this couldn’t be a more perfect video! Wish me luck as I do some last-minute tinkering on the bike.
Can you do a video (or have you done one) on the basic bike maintenance skills you need to be "self sufficient on the course? Your content is amazing and has made me confident enough to dip my toes in, this is the last area of concern as I am new to biking.

Tapering: conditioning, relaxationing, activationing, carbloading, not skipping breakefasting.
@@camilaestrada4675 it's the breakfast that you've practised with but high in carbohydrate and low in fat and fibre is a good rule to follow.

I’ve had good luck with reverse tapers before my big 70.3 or full distance races so the week before entails a bit of work !

Just did 11h, but I was doing 17h at peak, only 4h now in race week
kind of wish there was an outline in the description of what to do on each day so I don't have to keep re watching the video.
