I can't get over the fact how you guys know EXACTLY what is a find.. and what is not! Walrus tusks??? OMG!!! I love you guys! Keep doing what you're doing!!❤️❤️❤️
This looks like tons of fun! I love to snorkeling in the freshwater springs & have tried my hand @ lobster diving in the keys but, never been where your diving it's unbelievable the "treasure" your pulling up! How you can identify teeth & bones of SO many animals is very impressive! Pruney fingers aka "Grandpa hands" & all I'm ecstatic I came across your page! Be safe & well..
lol, I get super pruney when I fail to hydrate myself throughout the dives. It's really bad on me... it's easy to dehydrate yourself while diving and I'm trying to get better at it.
Lightning can reach out about 12 miles or so from the storm clouds producing it. Get a lightning tracker app. You can set it up for alerts when there's lightning within so many miles of your location.
Talk about 9 lives, really glad you both are safe. The near tooth is really cool. You know me, that Hemi is sick and definitely a grail piece, at least for me.
That would be a scary feeling not knowing what happened until y’all surfaced! I’d be more worried about bull shark. I had one come bump me last year only difference was clear water and I seen it coming!
Was any of your equipment effected by the strike? Like Joe's idea about keep it over the boat cause I found a bear canine in the piece river and dropped it never to be found again
No, not my hookah, not my go pros, and everything on the boat was fine. He was referencing my Saber cat video... where I somehow flung it from the boat and realized like when we were leaving from the boat ramp
I did some statistic checking and was surprised, the odds of being attacked by an alligator is 1 in 3 million, being struck by lightning 1 in 15 thousand. You're safer swimming with gators than going out in a storm. Cool video, I enjoy them.
It's true though more people are in a situation to be stuck by lightning then be attacked by an alligator... but both super rare, and I'll take a lightning strick while 10 feet under versus a gator lol
That's not how statistics work lil bro. Getting eaten by a great white shark is very, very unlikely because of how few people ever get near one in the water. if you are in the water with one though, those odds of getting killed by one suddenly skyrocket.
Yeah, I think we get that. Between lightning and alligator attack leading to death, it would be very close to the same. People are always very surprised at how unlikely death from and alligator is even when purposely swimming with them.
A couple weeks ago we had a similar experience at camp. We were at a wakeboard camp and it started thundering a lot. The tent that was by the lake was leaking a ton and so the eight out of ten guys were all drenched. (One was in his hammock with a nice rainfly, and another was at the picnic table at the campsite under shelter). I was one of the closest to the side of the tent where lightning struck. I at first saw a blinding light that didn't turn night into day, it turned it into white. It was just like I felt like my body was being like bit by the electricity and pushed down. A really weird feeling that I have never felt. After that I was fine all except for my butt that hurt for awhile. I researched it, and lightning has to enter and exit at two points of your body, and my theory is that it went through my head because I think I blacked out for a second. I woke up and my ears were ringing and I heard someone scream that we got hit by lightning, and that his butt hurt. We ran to shelter and checked and there were red marks around mine and another guys butt, that went away in the morning. Someone else felt it in their feet, and another guy felt it in his belly. One guy farther away from the edge of the tent the lightning was near said he just felt a buzz. Anyway after that we just had an adrenaline rush for several hours but we were good. It's a crazy feeling that's hard to describe. I'm glad you're safe, and you didn't black out under water.
I depends largely on what is stuck on them. I use dish soap and a tooth brush on most of my river teeth & ocean ones require more work. We have a video on how to clean ocean teeth if you're interested
Would love to do a collaboration with you if you are ever interested. You guys are a bit more advanced than me, I mean, I have to get one of those helmets put together, but I can hang with you guys!

In all fairness, I did not know that one either!

That's way better than obsessing over the radar!
Pretty cool glad your safe like your shirt

The hemi is the only one staying in my collection!
@@iHUNTdeadThings I can see why, it’s fantastic. I really hope I find a Super nice blue hemi when I go to bone Valley.
Your chances are good
You got some fantastic ground to hunt on. Bucket list for me is to find shark teeth
Is this the Peace River that was so low all summer long? 🧐
That lower hemi is so cool!
My favorite tooth of the day.

That definitely could have been the case as well. After checking my surroundings I surfaced in like 1.5 seconds lol

Always trying. Thank you

Thank you! We just felt a little discombobulated lol
@@iHUNTdeadThings 🤣👍
Is that shirt available yet?
No, I've been sidetracked with other requests, but I think I will be able to get it done this coming week. Feel free to message me a reminder lol

Amen! My butt was my highest point. It seems possible the electricity transfered from the ground up through the booth possibly?
@@iHUNTdeadThings Yeah that's possible

@@iHUNTdeadThings thanks for the information.
yeah
Crisp! No pun intended...lol
You lie lol
glad yall or ok. I would probably never get back in the water.
I wanted to as soon as the storm passed!
