I don't the Tronsmart Trip, but compared to my old Soundcore Mini 3, the Trip is terrible. I'll give a try on the Groove 2 when it hits Amazon (still not available)
This speaker sucks. I bought 2 of them because the price was good and there were so many raving reviews. But as soon as I put on some music I immediately regretted it. I also have a couple of ue wonderbooms (1&2), and they are much better. No comparison. This sounds like cheap garbage. My advice would be to spend a little more on a decent speaker. Also the open passieve radiator in the back.. wtf, this speaker is supposed to be "rugged" but if something thin gets in there it will break. And the stupid led lights you have to turn off every time you want to use the speaker.. They are not that loud either. Wonderboom is much louder.

Wonderboom 3 is still using Micro-B USB in 2023, might as well get a second-hand Bose which sounds way better than UE or Tronsmart.
@@paolylo micro usb-b might be outdated but it's no real problem. It works fine.
