Bengawan Solo is a song that created by one of our legendary musician named Gesang..he was a master in Keroncong (type of music he played)..try to listen one or two songs in keroncong..I'm sure you're gonna like it 'cause it brings peacefull in our ears..and that song tell us about a river called Bengawan Solo..one of the most important&busiest river in indonesia back in our colonial time..when most of the trading back then distributed by the river transportation..many of trade commodities ships through that river..therefore makes the river became important&popular among traders..that river start in Solo (a city in one of province in indonesia named Central Java) and flows till East Java Province..that song describe about how beautiful that river is..so basically it tell us about that river's heyday..
