I love how the film's story teaches both the main characters a good lesson of life. For aditya he is extremely depressed that's when geet teaches him to hope and enjoy life. And for geet she was too much aloof and kind of irresponsible that's when aditya teaches her to be mature and settled. This shows both the extremes of character are bad for our lives, a balance of everything is necessary in life. They as a couple balance out each other perfectly.
That guy was egoistic and selfish. The way he was telling geet to tell her parents the truth. He was still not caring about her and just wanted her to face all the questions alone. He left her in every hard situations alone.
Everything aside, a guy like Aditya - Uff it's a blessing. That character is so sweet, respectful, gentlemen. The movie was released when I was a child, the character is stuck with me forever.
Yeah❤❤ he's exactly who Geet needed. She needed someone sensitive empathetic and who loves her blindly who would partake and handle her in all her madness and impulsiveness😂
Im totally agree with miguel chachu's review.. its a 7-7.5 movie ( though its my fav movie) the plus point of this movie was its songs for me.. especially "Aaoge jab tum" with rashid khan's vocals and ustaad mustaba hussain khan (played flute for this song)

The English song is Kiss Kiss by Holy Valance 😂 although it was originally a song by a Turkiye singer. Mauja Hi Mauja was copied from the Turkiye song. Holy Valance’s version was also copied from it. EDIT: chill guys, you can google it. It’s copied/inspired by, doesn’t mean it’s the exact same. There are definitely differences here & there in all 3 songs. But the base/foundation of the song is similar. Anyway, we can agree to disagree, no biggie 😉

Great analysis! I think one of the reason Aditya was willing to let Geet go was because of his experience with his mother. His mother left his father for someone she loved, so Aditya perhaps thought that it would be wise not to force himself in a relationship with Geet without her first realizing that she actually loves Aditya, even though he really could have easily done that. But would it be a rebound relationship or a love relationship, he wasn't sure. That is the reason he was holding back, I think. Also, you must have noted all the cultural differences in how relationships progress in India. Other very interesting movies to watch - 1) Jolly LLB (I like this one better than part 2) - Arshad Warsi / Boman irani / Saurabh Shukla are great actors. 2) Jolly LLB 2 3) Jo Jeeta wohi sikandar - An Aamir khan oldie but a classic. Would not meet the current woke standards but hey have to watch old movies with a pinch of salt. But very entertaining nonetheless!

That's what I thought too. I mean like... he could have let her down a bit easier and made sure she got home. But yeah.... a girl showing up without letting me know is kinda outlandish but she was so free spirited that is the way she works... I think the only thing he did wrong was not making sure she was ok after she traveled so far.
He could have handled it better the first time she showed up in his restaurant but i don't agree that he had any responsibility towards her. She was a grown up woman. She should know how to take care of herself instead of everyone just helping her.

geet character is so wrong in this movie for forcing anshuman to marry him even though he never gave any commitment but Bollywood knows how to manipulate a story after that anshuman coming to apologize and falling to love her was totally ridiculous . This is where this movie did not made any sense to me... Before that it was all very good. But the story became weak and excusable just to let believe geet is a victim. It's just ridiculous😏🤦🏻🤦🏻
Anshuman knew from the very beginning that Geet wanted marriage. If he didn’t have the same intention that he should have cleared it in the start instead of playing with her feelings.
Mauja Hi Mauja is similar to Dua Lipa’s Levitating! I mean there are I think 3-4 songs like this that sound alike. Dua Lipa got sued twice for copying those songs. And then peeps pointed out even Mauja Hi Mauja is a bit same XD

That's what I thought too. I mean like... he could have let her down a bit easier and made sure she got home. But yeah.... a girl showing up without letting me know is kinda outlandish but she was so free spirited that is the way she works... I think the only thing he did wrong was not making sure she was ok after she traveled so far.
He could have handled it better the first time she showed up in his restaurant but i don't agree that he had any responsibility towards her. She was a grown up woman. She should know how to take care of herself instead of everyone just helping her.

geet character is so wrong in this movie for forcing anshuman to marry him even though he never gave any commitment but Bollywood knows how to manipulate a story after that anshuman coming to apologize and falling to love her was totally ridiculous . This is where this movie did not made any sense to me... Before that it was all very good.
But the story became weak and excusable just to let believe geet is a victim.
