Two of the most known Princes' Islands in Istanbul situated on the Sea of Marmara are definitely Buyukada and Heybeliada.
In case that you were still wondering what other island you can visit and that will also offer you an amazing time, is Burgazada.
This is one of the less touristy islands where you can enjoy with locals. Is a perfect option for a day tour from Istanbul and a different spot beside the most common of what to do in Istanbul.

A small and peaceful island, but rich in history and blessed with picturesque scenery. Without a doubt, an ideal location to escape the hustle and bustle of Istanbul's city life.
Which Island would you recommend for a day visit? I'm not from Istanbul or Turkey.

I've said it before but I'll say it again to emphasise my point... Bery's pronunciation of Turkish is excellent. I guess the vowel sounds of Turkish and Spanish must match up quite closely. German speakers also seem quite comfortable with Turkish vowel sounds. With English speakers it is not so much the case. I love the fact that she has immersed herself fully in the hectic culture of Istanbul life, and that she created this channel to share her experiences as a foreigner living in a mega city such as Istanbul. Thank you so much Kemal! I wish Spanish and Turkish were even a bit similar in pronouncing some letters but unfortunately not, my biggest fear are ı,ö,ü,ğ and of course that some words have this â sound such as kase, kağıt, Kamil, so haaaard! But I try to do my best 🎉🎉
At least Turks can understand me when I try to speak Turkish outside and if I mispronounce something or cannot say it they help me and smile which I love!

@@BeryIstanbulTips The Ö/ö and Ü/ü vowels have (almost) exact sounds in German. The Â/â vowel isn't officially part of the alphabet, but corresponds to putting a soft Y sound in front of the vowel. For example, Kâmil would be pronounced Kyamil (Kya-mil), with a soft Y. The Ğ letter doesn't actually have a sound in itself, it is silent, and is used to bridge two vowels, such as yiğit (pronounced yi-it). The I/i letter without the dot (I/ı) is the the same sound you would find in English when prounouncing something like "A dog", "A person", or the last part of "loveable". The sound of the A here is the sound for I/ı in Turkish.
Either way, I'm 100% sure that you're Turkish is better than my Spanish, and 200% better than my Mexican Spanish. ✌🏼

But for turkish people eyes I am look and I can say you..my country if you are foreign you are king..for example if you want buy internet turkish peoples more expensive pay but foreign peoples pay more down price. this is example 1. other..turkish republic can help you about money if you not have got.also my country the best hospitals have got also republic hospital cheap or free .not pay money.for that I am angry to my administrator policitans tourism politicans .because for example thailand and other asian countrys inside for museum thailnd 10 baht. but if you are tourist 20 euro..my country turkey toruist rivh poor peoples all same price :) your imagine turkey how is very very cheap for tourist. I am very angry must make turkey too 50 euro museum turkish people 10 lira

Ah, this is the island. I was there several years ago with a turkish friend, and we were taken to this island that I could not remember. So much wanted to go to the beach area. Went on a tour to Buyukada instead. last week Next time.

Watching this video allowed me to choose between Büyükadaö Heybeli, and Burgaz, which seems "just right" for my tastes. A note to your videographer: When filming mosques inside or out, panning from RIGHT to LEFT makes it easier to follow the calligraphy, as Arabic script is written from right to left. It's hard to believe that Burgazada Camii dates from 1953. Keep up the good work.

Can you please do a video on normal price costs of things in turkey like tops, trousers, scarfs etc (unbranded/ branded) compared to the prices given to tourists. I don’t understand what the normal prices are as they always seem to overcharged tourists so it’s not clear on what price to bargain with! Xx

Hi Bery! I'm hoping to visit Turkey in Jan 2022 and was wondering if it really is as gray and rainy as the experiences I've read so far seem to suggest. And are any places closed during that month?
Someone said, "If you’re coming from somewhere far away and are spending a lot of money to get to Istanbul, I’d say you’re better off skipping the trip in January. The weather was pretty miserable, and part of the fun of Istanbul is walking from place to place since the city is so big and diverse. You’re going to be disappointed if you spend a lot of money to come for five days and get nothing but cold, gray days with rain." This really worried me as I have been wanting to visit Turkey (from India) for so long and this really is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of visit for me
Kind of ironic how it's one of the smaller and less crowded ones, as this one's definitely the most interesting. If I only had time to visit one, I would choose this one.

Fish recognize faces. They are fully aware and intelligent. They feel pain. Read the Cambridge Declaration on Consciousness. Are there any vegan dishes at these restaurants that are cooked on separate utensils than those used for fish and other animals?
I respect your choice and good for you 🌱, however, I’m not a vegan. When I visit a restaurant, I’m not checking into their kitchens to see how they cook or what kind of utensils they use for each food they prepare but if you need to know, you can freely check that on your own when you visit a restaurant here that clearly is not a vegan one.

Historically, the island of ANTIGONI (Burgazada) has been inhabited chiefly by the Greek minority. During the 1960s and 1970s the Greeks were violently expelled by the Turks contrary to the Lausanne treaty, so the local population balance has shifted towards the turks.

I visited Turkey and came to this Island with my spouse.
Now the thing I HATED about the island was there they dont have any regulation on the quality of cycle being rented out and there arnt any twin cycles available! how and what are couples where one of em cant ride a bike supposed to do?
If you cant cycle please dont visit the Island...
It could be a great idea having those type of bikes!
But one can also walk, we rarely rent a bike when we visit the islands and we enjoy a lot too :)
