Oh a Dresden Plate !!❤❤ I did a term of quilting when I was in high school & my mum was a quilter. We made a Dresden plate - first thing I ever quilted & I loved the aplique technique when we sewed the design onto our cushions - what fun memories!! You have done a fabulous job with this page & I love how it honours your beautiful quilting ❤❤❤
Thanks so much Jen. I did needlework at high school too, was more into clothes though. Thanks for the beautiful comments you have been leaving. Hugs & cheers.
Love your fabric page. I made a collage with fabric and lace trimmings 😊
How pretty.. Look at your skills, quilting, crochet and junk journaling.
Jack of all trades, master of none. Thank you! 😊

Wow! So beautiful Leigh! Quilting, crocheting, crafting...is there anything you can't do. Incredible! The two pages really go together well too. Whoo hoo. Hugs from a -28°C Montreal... 🥶
Thank you Teresa! 😊
Gorgeous!!!
Thank you! 😊
That's beautiful!
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful! I was wondering what I was going to do and again you came to my rescue! I'm a quilter have lots of orphan blocks and parts so now I will go rummage through them to find something. Love those two pages together. Thanks for the inspiration!!
Wonderful, orphan, couldn't think of that term at the time. I'm very new to quilting, haven't completed anything really but enjoy the sewing process, especially chain piecing. Thank you! 😊
Beautiful! I wish I had stuff like that just lying around 🤣I obviously need to do more other crafting to supplement my journalling!
Thank you! I've been creating for a while, most of the bits have been 'auditioned' and rejected for other projects then don't get put away. 😊
❤ the use of your dresden plate block as a pocket! I'm so here for it! That fabric with rose very pretty. That rice bag came in handy this month.
I'm so glad you liked the Dresden plate pocket! It's such a fun way to add a personal touch to the journal. And yes, that fabric with roses is just gorgeous!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I keep meaning to ask (like, all month!) - what tool are you using to ink the edges and to do your stencilling? It works so well! Thanks xx
I mostly use a 'stabillo all' pencil for the edges, then smudge it. The ink dauber is nothing special, just a garden variety one from a craft shop. Cheers
@@leighcreates I've never come across an ink dauber before, I'll have to look out for one, thanks very much!
