I love your transparency with your finances and the honesty around not wanting to continuously hustle to achieve the Europe trip is refreshing. It’s definitely something my husband and I have spoken about this year too, so thanks for bringing it into the open x
I’ve always struggled managing my finances. Recently I decided I need to be accountable and make changes but I really didn’t know where or how to start. I just discovered your channel and I’m so inspired. I’ve purchased your template and feeling less confused and overwhelmed about the challenge ahead. Looking forward to seeing more of your content! 🥰
Which budget template are you using from the site? I purchased the Ultimate Monthly Budget Spreadsheet for Excel and it looks different to the layout you have. I really love how you have all the months and a seperate subscriptions section which the one I purchased doesn't have.
Not a subscriber, just came across your video on RUclips (its algorithm). What stood out for me was the fact your budget has no ‘Investment’ allowance, weather it’s superannuation contribution or stock market investment. I’m in my 40s and wish I could tell my 20s or 30s year old self to start investing early. Yes, we did have mortgages & other debts (back then), but even investing little each year, the compounding interest is a powerful thing. Putting money in high yield interest savings account is so old school as our money will lose value over time due to inflation. Good luck!
love love love your transparency, I've been watching since the beginning of your channel and love how your content has grown with you, super excited for your upcoming opportunities, wishing you the best of luck!!! taking your advice and putting my goal out into the universe: I want to start my social media accounts this month! I've been planning on doing something like this for a while but there's some exciting events coming up in September/October for the content I'm wanting to post about, so I think it's a 'now or never' kind of moment. The fear is real, but it's super exciting! 💛💛
"I would hate to be my bra" HAHA. Really appreciate the full transparency of changing your financial goals, and totally understandable of wanting to just enjoy the present and your life over grinding for europe.
I had to pause at 22 mins and say I’m sad we won’t be drinking tea ☕️ next year but I totally understand and agree you’ve had two years of go go go it’s nice to just sit back and breathe a little so definitely support the longer term goals perhaps aim the Europe trip for just before you think about starting baby season that could be a cool chapter marker ❤
This is the first video I've seen from you and I love it I love how open and honest you are :) I'm 22 and in the process of planning a wedding in Ontario Canada and I love seeing videos like this as it truly motivates me to get my finances in order :) I also love traveling! My favourite place I've been to is Kenya, I went there on a service trip in high school and the sunrises and sunsets were stunning :) sorry I'm a talker lol and love meeting new people :)
You could create a monthly book club with friends? This holds you accountable to read 1 book a month, and also meet up with your favourite people on a regular basis. You'll probably find you'll want to read more in general as a result 😄
Notification squad, where u at? Here from RUclips notifications! Already liked the vid EVEN b4 watching as I know I will ❤ it! In terms of what I am working on this month is not buying any unnecessary things like extra snacks or random things off Amazon. I'm trying to be careful with how much I spend at least until mid-next month.
YES Thrillers will always get me back to reading no matter the reading slump 😂 I recommend Jar of Hearts by Jennifer Hillier! Freida McFadden is a hit or miss and she has her formula, but the Coworker wasn’t too bad!
Have you read Dark Mode by Ashley Kalagian Blunt? It’s a thriller but it’s a bit *different* than others I’ve read previously. I think it could be a fun one for a reading slump!
You could try scheduling your posts so that you can take more days off social media? or even bulk recording so you could take a small amount of time post on you tube and then take the rest of the day off to rest. Love your videos, keep it it up :)
No spend September sounds like such a good idea. Just got married so presently living week to week and hubby and I owe over 10k in predicted bills this month alone in rego’s and home rates
Hi, love your videos but noticed there was no money allocated for bills. You pasted them into the due column instead of the budget column. Just wanted to let you know! ❤❤
I have 2 booked for next year. 1 to Tangalooma Island and the big one is a one way from Sydney to Singapore. So excited. Counting down and saving hard!!! Any tips on accommodation or flights back appreciated .@@smileycitrus

I’d say coffee beans for the machine at home is grocery since it’s consumable but parts for the machine I would file under home.

Move on ***

I highly recommend the book "Did you hear about Kitty Karr" it has so many twists and turns. It isn't a thriller.

I absolutely adored “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder”. A fast, gripping read!

"You know me. Sun's out--I'm a whole new woman." Me and my seasonal depression agree, sis 😂

What about Roth IRA / 401 k / brokerages
our employers contribute into our super funds (retirement fund) every pay check- between 12-16% of our earnings
Hey Ella, I’m looking for new ways to earn some extra cash and I was wondering roughly how much time it takes you doing the surveys to earn $100?😊
❤❤
I've been checking for the last couple of days for this one!! I might consider a no spend month at some stage, saving for my cruise at the moment😀
hope you enjoyed!! which cruise are you going on? 😍
