Chiang Mai Temple Exploring
Chiang Mai is located in the north of Thailand and is easily accessible via its international airport or via the train station which is serviced from multiple locations the main being Bangkok.
In this video i arrived via the overnight sleeper train out of Bangkok where i met a group of people on a Contiki tour and went to visit Chiang Mai's equivalent of the American Grand Canyon. This consist of an old quarry which has been filled with water and is safe(ish) for people to go swimming in.
My good friend Arno visited Chiang Mai last year and highly recommend that i checked out Ristr8to which serves incredible coffee with award winning latte art. This place is defiantly worth checking out.

Afterwards i went riding along one of the many mountain roads and checked out a few temples along the way. I highly recommend avoiding some of the main ones as they tend to be a little bit overcrowded and rather opt for one of these smaller ones where you'll nearly have the whole place to yourselves.
All footage filmed using an iPhone 5s and edited using Final Cut Pro and occasionally GoPro Studio.
