Great video and interesting scenario using the SBH system. Shows how flexible the rule set can be with a little imagination. Also, Even = Down (ED) and Odd = Push (OP) 😄
Cool video. I've been playing Chainmail solo to learn the rules... I think I'm gonna set up this scenario to test out the 1:1 combat rules. I got a million ideas just from watching this. 😁
Have you tried Rangers of Shadowdeep? It has an interesting card mechanic that determines which events happen during the course of the game. Essentially, each numbered card (2 to 10) could have an event associated with it. This could be a fun mechanism that you can combine with SoBH in some way (maybe assign specific events with to each odd-numbered card and draw one when a turnover happens).
Yes ! Thank you for the video and everything you do to bring these videos to us. I was just thinking on my lunch break at work today was " I need me a Joy Of Wargaming video tonight to make everything feel right and good for a moment"... Bam a notification pops up !! The good life. Thank you again
Was an awesome video. Love the narrative rpg aspect. And yes lol😂 I'm one of those gamers buying the fairy garden stuff at dollar tree to use as terrain.
Another great game play. You are inspiring. Cleaning up the paint on my "28 mm" ogres. They looked shabby. Then paint my 15 mm barbarians/humans. Gotta give the Elves n Orcs some more competition. Just had a brainstorm so I got to also paint my Native Americans and then I can use the barbarians as Vikings exploring North America
I love this series of videos on SOBH, it’s very inspiring! THANKS !

I'll never need to reference that rule again 😂
Please enable us to give you a super thanks (tip) on the channel. I would love to tip you for these batt reps, they are always a joy to watch.
That's very generous of you. Stay tuned, I'll make some way available one pf these days.
