Keepsake Urn

  • As woodworkers, urns are almost always the most difficult projects that we get asked to do. They all start with a “box” of some sort and then get more ornate from there. The “Small Box Miter Sled” did a wonderful job on the miters which allowed me the time to concentrate on some of those more “ornate” details.

    Why would you put a 'knob' on the top? I think it would look cheesy. I look at my late moms 'urn' and cannot imagine her having one on hers. Besides, putting a knob on the top would only indicate that people are going to pull the top off and look at the bag that contains the ashes.

      This is more of a keepsake urn so, the contents could be removed. It's not big enough for ashes.
