LOL! This is great! One of my personal favorite conspiracy theories as a kid was that Cooper was either a time traveller or an alien. It's really cool to see temporal displacement *and* aliens woven together. :D
That was awesome! Especially the two bundles of cash falling out of the bag. "History recorded no traces of D.B Cooper after the hijacking, only cash fragments were eventually found." Hilarious! 😂
Honestly, it was down to a bit of artistic license. We preferred the look of the TNG beaming out and felt the TOS one would take to long. As shows like Enterprise were flippant with the look of things, we felt why not.
That answers several questions but really WHY did an Orion alien need antique American currency? Also, why didn't DB Cooper just get transported off the plane or even before boarding it?
Valid points. Who knows what an eccentric Orion would want to collect and why Starfleet would even consider getting it. Honestly felt there wasn't enough time to get into the why's and would take away the fun, didn't want to overthink it too much. There are so many questions from the DB Cooper case. Why did he allow all the passengers of at Seattle yet still request 4 parachutes? Why did he allow the pilot to navigate his own flight plan to Reno? No way he could have guaranteed a drop zone where he wanted. Again, we were just having fun with it and not trying to overthink it. :)
This was great. And I had to laugh when the guy on the comm said 'As long as you were subtle." HA! If only he knew...

Oh... they are so getting a visit from Temporal Investigations! :D
They will be indeed!
This is a good joke, well-produced. GG.
That's really clever - the cinematography is quite good too!
Clever.
AAAAA-AAAAMMMMMAAAAZING!!!!!

Glad you spotted that little detail. 🙂
And they said Kirk was a menace!
Kirk has nothing on this lot!!!!
LOVE IT!
Clever, well-made, plenty of bounce, great short.
Best two minute Star Trek I've seen all.... week. Month? No, year! Excellent.
Ah this is great! Just brilliantly done.
Hey, I grew up in Vancouver :D This was hilarious!
Well, that answers that!
But why a 23rd century communicator and 24th century beaming technology?🤔

Excellent 😃
To confuse Temporal Investigations, obviously! ;)
Interesting idea, but wouldn’t ya just beam the cash right outa the bank vault? Fort Knox?
But where's the fun in that? ;-)
Based on a true story!
Very inventive and creative, thank you.
Nicely done!!
Loved this. More. Soon. Make it so.
Case solved!
Not expecting that...I was not prepared haha! Really well made!...could have done with more ship shots though ;)
I'm glad I found this. For a short time, I considered using DB Cooper for a screen name before settling on the one I use.

The Orion was probably a middle-man for Kivas Fajo. Gotta have those pristine greens for his collection. ;)
Excellent! Well done.
