- Joas flies to Montana to spend a few days with his frail 89-year-old mother. It was a special time with family and friends! 
I even got to go inside our Montana Haven home, although I spent the nights with mom.

Such a precious visit with your parents. I don’t think there’s anything more special for a Mom than just being with her children.
I loved this so much! My mom had Alzheimer's and I was heartbroken that I could no longer talk with her. Dad was a preacher and we all used to sing hymns together. At one of my visits, the Lord told me to sing the songs she and dad and I used to sing together. She no longer knew me but she knew every hymn and worship song. Not only did she know them but she raised her hands to praise and worship Jesus whom she remembered. The one she had loved her whole life. I found so much comfort in that. You will never forget this Visit the rest of your life.❤
Every moment that you can spend with your mom is precious to her now and will always be special for you.

You and your sister sing beautifully together, I could listen to you two for hours. I know it meant so very very much to have you there, to hear her babies singing, to be able to fall asleep holding your hand. I keep hearing what Billy Graham said before he passed. He told people not to grieve, that he wasn't leaving, he was only changing his address. That gave me comfort when I lost my parents, brothers, husband, and other loved ones. You have such a beautiful, loving, and talented family, and it is all due to the love, guidance, patience, morals, and faith your parents have instilled in all their children. You all are so very very blessed.

My Mom is 92 and my dad is 88. This video had tears rolling my eyes. I will visit this weekend. Corporate life has taken so much of me ..... now am decided to take a month to stay with my parents and go back to where I grew up. Thank you so much for sharing such moments of love, homage, faithfulness and joy of family.

I remember those days not long ago taking care of my mother the last years of her life. Made it to 92.5 years. Miss her everyday ❤ a special time being with your mother, we only get one! So hard watching out parents age and failing health. 🙏🌹precious memories and beautiful voices 💖
Gosh I remember singing Never grow old many years ago when I was in my teens, and now I'm in my 80s wonderful memories. Lovely harmonising together my husband and myself were in a youth for Christ choir in our teens and twenties Blessings to you all.❤

Your deep love, loyalty, adoration and mostly the precious time you make for them does not go unnoticed, not even for a second, especially with your Mom. What kept her up that first evening was her excitement of you just being there. She fought hard to connect and communicate with you. She found that path with singing. That beautiful song Never grow old with your sister Becky brought tears of wonderfulness for the viewers and absolutely rang all the bells in your Moms heart.

My mom was blind and bed ridden for 12 years. It was an honor to take care of her. I can’t wait to see her again in Heaven. Precious memories.

I have two sons that would also very likely do what you did with your precious Moma. I have over ten years yet before I am 89. But my son’s are always hugging and holding me close when we greet each other and when we say bye after we have visited. They are very masculine yet so tender hearted.
Your duet with your sister revealed your voice. You have a very distinct alto range. Had to be a heavenly sound to your Moma’s ears hearing both of you harmonizing together.
Whenever I watch your videos from over the years, whenever both families, Millers and Gerod’s , have get together’s, you eat, you play games and then you just sit and sing and sing. It is so inspirational and a meaning family tradition.
What a wonderful heritage and legacy both couples are leaving behind when they move to Heaven. Our faith and love surround you!

Spokane, Washington is my home town where I was born and raised, but I've been living in New Mexico for almost 24 years now. A few years ago I made a trip back to the northwest to see family and friends, and while I was there I drove to Libby, Montana, to go to the Amish Farm to Market store, where I bought a dress made by your sister-in-law, Rebekah. I was happy to be able to see and experience the very places you have shared with us in your videos. And, I just want to add that my own mom had Sundowner Dementia at the end of her life, so I could relate to what you shared about how your nights went with your mom while you were there with her, Joas. I pray for her mind and heart to be at peace and at rest. 🙏 ♥

I played gospel music for my grandma an hour or so before she went home to be with the Lord in January of 23. I got off the plane and drove straight over to see her and spend time together with her.
She passed away less than an hour after I left for the evening.
Joas, You felt the leading of the Lord to go home and be with your Mom. I will miss seeing her special quilts May God be with your family as Mom approaches the River of Life to be with Jesus forever.🙏

Glad to see Becky & Elvie there also !!! When Momma passes away she will look as young as Becky there !!! I know that for a fact !!! I remember that tree that was standing up by Parents cabin !!! My dog is 18 and frail, blind now and deaf now and doing the same exact thing, up at night and a log all day. I was super frustrated because sleeeep, but just remembered that it won't be forever like that. I don't do well on interrupted sleep. Sometime soon the little Ellie Care Bear dog won't, yeah, I can't even type it, so I am making sure she is having a good life until the end.

My mother is almost 94 & has health issues but is still active. I remember when my family used to spend time together singing which we haven't done for more than 40 years.
Enjoy your mom while you still have her. My mom passed away just last year in November. She also was going thru some health problems and thank God for giving me the chance to spend the last 3 months with her.
