In this video, I talk about setting up a quick firepower lab on EVE-NG. I brief on the architecture and then proceed with bootstrapping the FTDv and FMCv.
Great job. I tried connecting to the FMC from the win 10 IE. but it not responding. I can ping the FMC from the windows 10. Must I use google chrome. If yes , how do I install chrome on the windows host of eve-ng.
You can use the IE browser as well. If you prefer Chrome then connect your windows host to a management cloud from within EVE so that you get internet access
Just FYI, the Lina and Snort engine diagram is nice but doesn't really do the prefilter justice (nothing wrong with this video). The prefilter can Fastpath, Analyze or Block. Fastpath goes straight to the flow update. There's a nicer one from Lammle if you google it. The prefilter is also nice to identify tunnelled, non encrypted traffic (GRE / IP in IP / IPv6 in IP and Teredo) - note it's outer headers.
@@jitendrajain4470 This is determined at the beginning when you are adding the node settings. There is an option to choose either VNC or telnet - just choose telnet
The eval license is available as soon as you finish the installation. You can enable it from the FMC. RA VPN is a feature which needs additional licensing, rest all can be labbed with the eval

great bro thanks..
Sir how I got ftd or fmc image please sir tell me
You will need a valid CCO account to download. Firepower anyway gives you an eval license to play around.
@@BitsPlease I have my own account but they are taking money
I belive you will need a CCO with the right privileges. Please reach out to your cisco representative to get it sorted
@@BitsPlease ok
