You can use the mirror command in place of copy also

No, Copy gives you the identical image of your drawing at which ever location you needed but Mirror Just works to a predefined axis known as the center line.

When i tried to do the polygon, i could not see the central cross hair centre point of the circle i drew, so i couldn't get the centre , which ruined my polygon's centrality. Do you know why the centre of my circle is not displaying for me to lock to it?

Hatch is not just about Highlighting the area but it is about defining the purpose of Area depending on the type of hatch you are applying for example to specify a wall you can only add some color to that portion but by using Brick Hatch you can actually demonstrate that it is a brick wall.
