    Those impacts are a beast!! When the Black and Decker and Makita cordless tools came out years ago I never thought they would have improved to what the cordless market is today.

      I didn’t either. Lots of everyday mechanics use 20volt stuff instead of air.

    Another good video Joey. Now I will want one for those old disk out front that need blade replacements. The clunker (parts) disc will meet the “red” wrench if they prove stubborn. 18 months ago you hand cranked 3 in a row first pull at my place. They had run that day though. Plus Roger was giving them the “evil eye”! The wife stealing your energy? lol. Thanks for sharing and coming up with Christmas presents from me to me!

      My half inch drive took my bush hog blade off back in the summer with an adapter so I can only imagine that 3/4 would.

      @Jtwes I tried my air impact and even a buddies snap on from work and it wouldn't move. Mine is a cheaper old one so I wasn't surprised it had trouble. But his!!! And maybe it's cause I only have 3/8 air line? I don't know but I have a feeling there worse than yours is/was

    • @stanleyconrad4234
      @stanleyconrad4234 2 месяца назад +1

      I’ve had my best results for 1/2” with IR. I have a Snap On Blue point that is so weak (had it since new) that is practically useless IMO. On an old gun squirt some oil through the air fitting to help on the stubborn ones. Buy a new gun when you get the chance!

    • @natevanlandingham1945
      @natevanlandingham1945 2 месяца назад +1

      @stanleyconrad4234 i oil mine regularly. I also rebuilt this one and put new seals and stuff in it not that long ago and that took it from basically not working to functional and stronger than it ever was since I had it. It's kind of sentimental it was my father in laws that he used at his shop. He has now passed. I believe it's an IR...but not a high dollar gun.

    Hello from Indiana, I have been considering a cordless wrench Im not sure what size. I have to replace the pickup teeth on my round baler pickup. Lots of small bolts. Lol. I bought a couple of disk hillers the other day from Agri supply. They arrived the same week I was really impressed. They really have quick service. Mine are straight shanks. Under what conditions would I need offset shanks?

    • @Jtwes
      @Jtwes  2 месяца назад

      Hey Roscoe
      I can’t think of any. I’ve always had straight shafts on my disc hillers. I would get a compact 1/2 in drive impact. There not the most powerful and there not the weakest.
