My Top 10 is full of Lady Gaga and Top Gun Music. Yes and I've heard - Berlin and Harold Faltemeyer is returning in the remastered Soundtrack. Great Job to Tom and the Crew of Top Gun: Maverick

On March 3, 1969 the United States Navy established an elite school for the top one percent of its pilots. Its purpose was to teach the lost art or aerial combat and to insure that the handful of men who graduated were the best fighter pilots in the world. They succeeded. Today, the Navy calls it Fighter Weapons School. The flyers call it: TOP GUN

Every time I play top gun 🔫 the intro gives me goosebumps and when me and my girlfriend went to see top gun 2 we both cried at the end especially when lady gaga hold my hand came on...wow...it really touched our hearts.we love you heaps tom Cruise.👌
Saw Maverick opening weekend. When the into started, I felt the chills, then Kenny Loggins came it...couldn't help but move my legs. The smile didn't leave my face until I went to bed that night

Nobody realized that in the 1st Top Gun in the beginning when Maverick Flips off the Mig-28 pilot and Goose takes a picture, that, that incident actually happened, happened on August 18th 1981 in the Gulf of Sidra. Involving US carriers USS Nimitz and USS Forrestal...Lt. Lawrence Muczynski was piloting a brand new F-14. During the ordeal Lt. Muczynski pulled directly next to the enemy plane and gives him the 🖕, and his REO takes a picture of it. So everything but them being inverted happened. Then on day 2 of the exercise, Libian enemy planes fired on them and they shot down 2 Libian planes. This real life incident is recognized in TopGun: Maverick In the briefing scenes, when you see Phoenix wearing the 41st Squadron Flying Black Aces patch on her flight suit. So The origional honored this real life event by taking portions of it and making it the opening scene. Then TopGun: Maverick shows recognition by having the 41st Squadron The Flying Aces be Phoenix's Squadron as she wears that on her flight suit

Combining the first 2m42s of musical audio from the intro, just before "Danger Zone" plays, using it as the intro to the theme just before the guitar plays. If I could get my hands on some HD music only audio from that intro scene, and a HD copy of the soundtrack theme, I could make it myself. But no luck on my end...
Harold composed an amazing melody, millions of people identify with it, I am no exception, my story is no different than the hundreds of people who added the entry. . . is the same, I lost a very important person in my life, MOM, unfortunately A MOMENT before her death I was arrested, wrongly, for something I never did, I was detained for over two years, I was released in 2020 due to lack of evidence, I told myself when I look my family in the eye. . . On February 16, 2021 my wife called with the news that my mother died, she was 66 and died on my birthday, I explain it to myself that her heart could not stand the grief over her son. . . I will never forgive myself for the fact that as long as she was alive that I did not talk to her because I was ashamed. . . when I listen to this song, I know that unfortunately she is gone and I feel terrible. . . all those memories. . . I feel like the hero of this movie who loved his co-pilot, I love how I loved my mother and just as no one can give Goos to the main character, and no one can give MY SECOND PILOT to me, rest in peace MOM ....
Served 8yrs active duty Marine Corps including 3 Iraq tours....but damn this song and movie makes me wish I'd joined the Navy and been a fighter pilot instead. I did get to fuel them as a 1391 in the Corps. 😉
to me growing up being a pilot was something i always wanted to be because of this movie, especially when i heard about the jolly rogers elite fighting squadron 103..those are some bad mofos..
Since Top Gun 2 came out this seems to be getting a lot more attention. As I mentioned in the description, all the hard work on this was done by Mer Supplie (bear in mind the score was never released for this)... I just stuck the two bits of music together.
