Thank you for this I was so lost with mine when I got it! I’m pretty sure my horse won’t think I’m a complete dork now that I will be able to use this awesome tool on her successfully now woohoo 🙌
Thanks this is very helpful! For the strongest bitless setting, can the extra strap fit through the browband loops? I’m worried about it looking messy 🙈🙈
No, use it as recommended by it’s designer as demonstrated. Find what your horse best prefers & don’t worry about it “ looking messy”. It’s a functional piece of gear; don’t worry about it “ looking messy”.
bitless research the quality is very good - it’s soft and supple as well as strong. My gelding is rough on things and his Micklem hasn’t show any signs of wear or tear.
Hey, I just wanted to know waht size your bridle is and how many hands your horse is. I want to purchase one but I don't want it to be too big. Yes, I'm aware that not all horses have the same head size but I could use this as a reference.
My 12.2hh pony wears a pony sized Micklem and the horse sized one fits both my 15.2hh Curly and my 14.3hh Haflinger. It also fit our Icelandic pony who had a large head. Hope this helps!
M V the straps I had all came with my bridle. I purchased it from an online saddlery website and the straps and bit clips were all included with the bridle. I’m sure you can purchase them separately however.
If you are referring to the plastic clips, they are used to help stabilize the bit but you cannot use them in a dressage competition. I don't personally use them as they don't make a major difference but some people like to use them.
@@RRaine.Equestrian and also I have an extra pair of bit straps?? Or are they used somewhere else? Oh I hope I put it on right..thank you for your video..also my long strap don't seem long enough to cross under her jaw..I have a little quarter horse so she usually wears size Cob...I ordered small horse 😊👍

For the highest level hack do those elastic straps you used come with it or did you have to buy them, cause I didn’t get any with mine

I got all the straps and things with mine too---just no reins, which I didn't order. since I have a favorite pair of laced reins that I always use.
Can I get those long bitless straps separately anywhere?
Eun Issi I would check online on websites like eBay for them. I’m not sure if you can purchase them directly from a saddlery
Yay I just got mine too..what are the snaps for I wonder
