If your a serious cannabis consumer or trimmer, a multi tool makes life a lot easier. Poke out your bowls, cut down your blunts, Trim your trees, measure your buds, be able to hold that roach till it’s goone, there’s nothing it can’t do.
I’d choose a multi tool over a folding knife 10/10 times. I’ve yet to find a multi tool without a blade on it; and you get another 5+ tools for relatively the same footprint.
I use a Milwaukee Fastback 6in1 utility knife for cutting. It has a screwdriver that I use for light prying. If I carry a folding knife, then I'll carry a small prytool. It depends on what I have planned for the day. If I think I'm going to need pliers, then a multitool is great or a 4" Knipex. Aviation job.
I carry both a leatherman free p4 loose in jy pocket with my wallet (i modified it a little to my liking) and i carry a spyderco PM2 crucarta clipped on my pocket..dont need to look at any other knives love what I carry
Personally, multitool is for work and everyday carry. Thus, I prefer a good utility style blade. Pocket knife is more a last resort emergency rescue weapon for me. Something I carry when running errands, at home, or certain jobs at work dealing with rigging. Or a pocket knife is used for cutting and eating favorite foods like apples. I dont use my pocket knife for packages.
Multitool hands down. Gerber, sak, Leatherman, even sometimes dollar store multitool, any of em are realistically carryable for day to day use. Preferably locking blade but our grandfather's got away with slipjoints for centuries.
I love my Leatherman multi tools, but I seldom carry one anymore. I just can't take the bulk. I keep full size tools at work, and in the car, a SAK is enough for me. (And a neck knife)
If you carry a multi tool, you’ll never wish you had a knife blade with you. If you carry a pocket knife, you might wish you had some extra tools. Also, in an urban setting I don’t see the point of carrying both.
I still don't understand the pocket knife. Why carry a $200 bench made to cut a box open when I can do it just as easily with a $5 box cutter? I carry a multi tool because I use the bottle opener, screwdriver, pliers, wire cutter, wood saw, chisel at least weekly, if not daily. And they have a knife which, despite not being fancy steel, can still cut open packages, crazy I know. Someones gonna need to explain to me the need for these expensive knives. Please. I truly don't get it. I want to get it. I like knives... I just don't see the need for it. I carry a $40 fixed blade for self defense. I have a $35 OTF knife that cuts just fine. I really don't get it...
It's more of a want than a need. Would I like a $200+ Benchmade or Spyderco...etc? Sure but I can easily get the job with a $10 Walmart knife or cheap box cutter. Some people like the $200+ as a flashy piece of "pocket jewelry" as a conversation starter or to post pics on the Gram, but honestly nobody truly needs a $200+ knife. It's kinda like cars. I can go anywhere I want in a 90's neon, but God damn a Lambo, Ferrari...etc would look great in my driveway. In short, do you and carry what suits your NEEDS. If you ever decide you WANT that $200+ Benchmade go for it, if not that's kool too Those are some of my thoughts on the subject. I could go further but I'm not trying to write a book lol. urbanknifeguy has a nice video on the subject called functional vs. lifestyle edc and others that you might want to checkout for more info. Hope this helps, peace out ✌️😎
Carry both, & often end up using them both together!

As a motorcylist, recently carry a sak, because practical and carriable as a regular pocket knife. Just my opinion😊😊
I like to have both the knife 90 Percent stays in the pocket and the multi is in the pouch. If they say changes I'll swap them
Hi. Big fan of your awesome hank design. Can't wait for them to drop again.
@@JM-hj3sm I know he has some new items being dropped soon. Also working on more items I've been working with him with again as well!

Been carrying a Skeletool this summer and it has worked out well.

I never know what I'll be doing in a day so I EDC a swiss champ

My problem with multi tools is with most of them about half the tools is some form of knife.
I carry both a Wally wave and civivi mini praxis

Pocket knife for cutting... Multi-tool for pliers. 🤷
All average people use a multitool for is the pliers and bottle opener. Btw, I love your videos.
