Glad you got it figured out! I've been flying with the VRX myself and really enjoying the upgrade.

Hows the latency feel after flying more? I held off on this adapter because I kept reading the latency is worse with certain goggles. I have Eachine EV200D's, which are good but kind of oddball analog goggles and the input lag is reportedly pretty bad on them. I have DJI for my 3" and 5" quads, I really want this for the small quads running 1 to 3s.

honestly, the latency is only a hair difference. You notice it right off the bat. Makes the quad feel a little heavier. honestly, after a few flights, if youre focusing on it youll notice but I got lost in a good rip a couple days ago and completely forgot about it. you get use to it. Now it is a matter of antennas. The further and faster you get, the worst it will get. And instead of breakup, like analog, itll have quick lags in the image. Thats the hardest to get use to. itll freak you out the first time. but overall, the hair difference in latency doesnt even compare to the benefits of full HD compared to Analog. If you already fly DJI, ive seen Walksnail is actually pretty comparable with DJI in latency.

@@BrysonMichaelRC Thanks very much for the detailed reply. My other consideration was just grabbing the Fatshark HD setup since GetFPV and other places are still blowing them out for under $400.
Guess my concern with them is now the Avatar X is out, the Fatsharks are probably a dead end as far as support and firmware.

@TheLostSquadron I'm planning on getting those goggles. Mainly because, un like any other HD goggles, the X is updateable. Dji makes new things that aren't compatible with their old stuff. Wallsnail is gonna do the opposite. They made it so that when a new version comes out, you can open the top hatch and modify the goggles to be compatible. Pretty cool of caddx to do that

Update firmware on the VRX and after that put the pwr file on the VRX and boot it up.
There's another file you also just put on the VRX.
After that you should have all 8 channels and max power available.
    Update firmware on the vtx.
    Done.
    Welcome to the rabbit hole.

I did all that. Not in that order. Honestly, I updated the firmware, then put the other files on the SD card. Then went flying. About the 3rd plug in, everything worked and was available. It was weird

@@BrysonMichaelRC well.... Walksnail IS weird.... Strange it worked like that eventually, but it works... Somehow lol.
