Then you need to go for a conservative one..Some doctors find it attractive when teeth are showing a bit more than usual..at least my observation and also my doc said it when I went for consulation

I had mine with Dr Michael Bublik in Glendale (he used to have office in Beverly Hills) last January. The scar barely noticeable, just stopped itching. The feeling of tightness is almost gone. I once spoke with a Beverly Hills nurse who worked in a plastic surgeon's office. I asked her for the name of a qualified doctor. She wanted to know what type of surgery I was interested in, because she would base her recommendation on the surgeon's speciality. When I said lip lift, she recommended Dr. Harry Glassman, the doctor actress Victoria Principal was married to. However, his web page doesn't list lip lifts as one of his procedures.
I'm looking into getting this after my rhinoplasty. I love my lips and shape, but the space between my lips and nose has increased a bit after the surgery. It would be nice to have some teeth show as well. I'm a bit scared of getting a scar, but hopefully a good surgeon will prevent that. Its crazy that I discovered all of these surgeons in my research as well. James Pearson also really impressed me, although you gave me more confidence in Ben Talei. It's between Pearson, and Talei now for me. I'll add another one to your honorable mentions list: Amy K. Hsu. She doesn't seem to have a web page, but her results are also natural and impressive. Why are all the good lip lift Docs in Beverly Hills/L.A 😭 I guess I have a trip there in the future?
Tbh I think you hit the nail on the head with your order you put them in, but I would also say Linkov’s work is a beautiful front runner, quite impressive results! and I seriously can’t pick oh goodness! 8:06 has to be one of my favorite jobs you showed out of all of them though! who did kylie Jenner's lip lift? I love that no one ever mentioned she had one when it's so obvious her results weren't from filler alone (if at all) In another video you mentioned a v-y lip lift. Did you have that as well? IT's very hard to find information on that procedure which seems like a pretty cool concept.
The thing with lips is everyone has different shaped lips and you can’t change the underlying structure shape. You only can work with what you have to improve that.
Not sure about for lip lifts, but Montreal has some great plastic surgeons. I considered going there when I lived in Ottawa. I'm now in Victoria, BC and have found a great surgeon here for face lifting.
I'm sooo excited to see Dr. Pearson in May!! I called Dr. Linkov and he charged way too much and Dr. Moscaro I could not get in until July 2023! And that was just for a consult, the surgery would not be until 2024!!
Thanks Lorry for a useful video! I hoped doctors would have come up with a temporary lip lift (for when the signs of aging are starting to show, or when you only need a few mm off to make a real improvement so a surgical liplift would be too drastic) using those threads used in thread lifts. If they radiated them down from the nose to the upper lip, the lip would be pulled up temporarily like a surgical liplift. They could even run them down the two groves on the philtrum to alleviate the flattening you mentioned that can happen in a surgical lift. Given that the lip lengthens as we age, giving temporary shortening would be useful before a more drastic amount of tissue needs to be cut away.
Hi A! Thank you so much for your comment and you’re not far off! Many doctors over the years have attempted to do a thread lift instead of cutting on the lips; unfortunately because of how much the mouth moves; they have all failed... I myself had one prior to my lip lift and it failed as well. Thread lifts in general don’t work or only work for a couple months. Did you see some of the conservative before and afters? In some they only took out 2-3 Mls which is fine for almost anyone.

I don't think is helping teens and young people who are struggling with self image and self esteem, if they knew that celebrities they look up to aren't born perfect, maybe they wouldn't be so hard on themselves. It's also important to know exactly what you might face if you do go down that route so, it's nice someone is being completely open about all aspects of their experience without any bias from sponsorship.

Would love to see a similar "top doc" video for facelift specialists. Have been following the famous Dr. Jacono in NY, but see he has quite a few (20) *very* bad reviews on RealSelf. Now checking out Austin-Westin in VA. Great reviews and photos, but none of the docs specialize in faces. A deal breaker? Thank you!
Do not overlook a doctor who has some bad reviews; it’s normal and it’s a good sign that they aren’t putting gag orders on their patients or using a reputation clean up service. Dr. Jacono seems very good .
Just had a lip lift to correct drooping from Bells Palsy in Boca Raton, Florida from Dr S. (He only does faces). Day 4 and the stitches look great. Upper lip still swollen but I’m so thrilled.
Hi Lori. Would love your thoughts on Jonathon Zelken out of Newport Beach? Does the numbness & lack of mobility come from only the muscle being reattached or does that include both skin & muscle? If the surgeon is skilled enough with their technique doesn't it seem better to have them just do the skin to avoid nerve/mobility issues if he's able to do it without putting pressure or pull on the skin/lips? You are right about pics of different ethnicity. I have seen two doctors and have only seen before and after pic of fair skin ladies. I am brown skin of Mexican decent. I would like to see pic of brown skin before and after.
I'm 44 an I'm planning found a good doctor getting my deviated nose fixed and shaped a lip lift and upper an lower eyelid skin removal. I thought long and hard about this he works with very natural aesthetic look he's been a doctor doing this for over 25 years and I'm going to Turkey the country very advanced country done a lot of research. And very affordable. I see nothing wrong with getting plastic surgery but to keep it natural is best and I'm not about the fillers I love your channel by the way 💕
I have a consult with Dr. Mascaro in January and I booked it a couple of weeks ago. Once I have my consult I will then have to wait an additional three months for my surgery. The only problem with Dr. Mascaro is he does far too many young women. I fear they may regret it when they’re in their 50s ( if they have scars ) and they drop down as their top lip lengthens. Young women have too much collagen in their skin and because of this they end up with worse scarring than an older person who has less collagen in their skin. This is why lip lifts were normally only done on older women. I am 57 in December and it’s only now that I feel that I am really unhappy with the length of my philtrum. I feel a lot of my upper lip has folded underneath as my upper lip lengthened. My facelift and a lot of other work is scheduled for November with a different surgeon who does only face work as well, but I feel Dr. Mascaro is the best lip guy in the country.
I am very interested in getting a lip lift, more so than any other procedure. My philtrim length is around 16mm, and I have no tooth show. I just turned 41, and I've never had anything cosmetic done. I'm looking at Dr. Gary Linkov, he does excellent work.
I had my at 46, best decision ever. He’s great, but expensive. I’m glad I did mine 3 years ago and paid 3500$ with Dr. Azzi in Jupiter, Florida. Now his prices went up

I would think the issue would be more cosmetic, in the mouth not closing fully... so you’d have to be a good candidate and conservative on how much you went up.

I rewatched this video a lot! I’ve been researching lip lifts since I was 18 (now 23) but always continued with the lip filler, because I feel like there aren’t seriously good doctors for this procedure in Europe... I want to have a lip lift so bad, but I also don’t want my face to be screwed up, so I’m considering a flight to the US, because I would love to the Dr Mascaro since his before and afters look the best to me BUT it’s not within my price range... Any recommendations or tips for doctors in Europe? (I’m from Germany) xoxo

Lori hi Love your channel so...there was an invisible scar lip lift done through the nose down into the mouth by a doctor in Houston Texas Why is mo one else doing it? Where is he? think his name was Esher? something like that . In my opinion based on what I saw every doctor had good and not so great results and what I would really want to see is what the lip lift looks like 1 year later not 1 month later, depending on the skin type healing of the individual

Since you work in the dental field, do you happen to know whether a lip lift will reduce the force balance of the upper lip and the upper incisors, resulting in more protruded upper incisors over time?
I’m not exactly sure what these terms mean; if you have protruded teeth then you need to address that first through orthodontics. Don’t get a lip lift .

All the best plastic surgeons are located in Beverly Hills and they're soo expensive! The zip code area and it's type of re$idents play a huge role on that. The best of the best are all in the same place, like...one in every corner. Not fair.
There are great surgeons outside of Beverly Hills. San Fransisco, New York, Seattle, pretty much any more center has good ones. There's really good ones here in Canada. If you travel to places like England, Australia you van find great ones. If you want great surgeons at bargain prices, then Korea is a very good option.

I live in Argentina and I have decided that I will go for a liplift! After careful consideration, I think this would solve many of my problems without resorting to maxilofacial surgery. I am tired that my damn upper teeth don't show for dear life. I am 35 and want to age gracefully. This includes being able to show my damn upper teeth for once! For some, it might look a little bit funny but trust me, you rather look like this than looking like a depressed turtle.
Have you heard of the grin lift ? is lifting the corners of your mouth ( not the lips ) this isn't what you are talking about ? this is the lip lift? Can you tell me have you heard of this type of facelift and if its something you did look into but went with the normal facelift. This is what I copied " The technical term for the Natural Lift is called the "Triple C" Plication technique. One notable example is his revolutionary Natural Facelift Technique."
I haven’t heard of a grin lift; even if I had I’m not into new techniques only time tested stuff that many doctors have collaborated on and made better over the decades . SMAS and Deep Plane

the 2 facelifts I recommend are the deep plane and SMAS further than that I do not go; I trust my surgeon and hire them based on their education not on what technique they use. I do not go deep into research the way that you do; it is my preference not to; it’s the surgeon not the technique that gives a great result .

If you look closely you’ll see some rather obvious scars under the nose. also the scars are distorting the base of the nostril. if you look at the speaker as she speaks she can barely move her upper lip and she can’t pronounce words like “lip lift” without lisping so it’s apparently affected her speech. it’s a procedure I’ve thought about a lot but right now I think the cons are really outweighing the pros for me, esp the scar Smack dab in the middle of your face 😩even if it heals well there will be a slight line or an indentation right there and what’s the guarantee that you will heal well? And I know corrections are extremely difficult 😞
I think it’s definitely a trade off; in my most recent videos my upper lip movement is fine . The scar is much better too. A laser session will usually fix the scar .
@@julietteyork6293 I went to a different doctor and it went amazing…I don’t think you need the extra $ or fancy way he does it. This worked amazingly. Such a small change but made a big difference. After the proceedure I got filler and they are perfect now

No it’s through the mouth. A ‘V’ cut incision, stitched back as a ‘Y’. The stitching on the inside of the lip is what gives the lip a pouty look.

Would love to see a similar "top doc" video for facelift specialists. Have been following the famous Dr. Jacono in NY, but see he has quite a few (20) *very* bad reviews on RealSelf. Now checking out Austin-Westin in VA. Great reviews and photos, but none of the docs specialize in faces. A deal breaker? Thank you!
Do not overlook a doctor who has some bad reviews; it’s normal and it’s a good sign that they aren’t putting gag orders on their patients or using a reputation clean up service. Dr. Jacono seems very good .

Just had a lip lift to correct drooping from Bells Palsy in Boca Raton, Florida from Dr S. (He only does faces). Day 4 and the stitches look great. Upper lip still swollen but I’m so thrilled.
Hi Lori. Would love your thoughts on Jonathon Zelken out of Newport Beach? Does the numbness & lack of mobility come from only the muscle being reattached or does that include both skin & muscle? If the surgeon is skilled enough with their technique doesn't it seem better to have them just do the skin to avoid nerve/mobility issues if he's able to do it without putting pressure or pull on the skin/lips?

I'm 44 an I'm planning found a good doctor getting my deviated nose fixed and shaped a lip lift and upper an lower eyelid skin removal. I thought long and hard about this he works with very natural aesthetic look he's been a doctor doing this for over 25 years and I'm going to Turkey the country very advanced country done a lot of research. And very affordable. I see nothing wrong with getting plastic surgery but to keep it natural is best and I'm not about the fillers I love your channel by the way 💕
I have a consult with Dr. Mascaro in January and I booked it a couple of weeks ago.
Once I have my consult I will then have to wait an additional three months for my surgery.
The only problem with Dr. Mascaro is he does far too many young women.
I fear they may regret it when they’re in their 50s ( if they have scars ) and they drop down as their top lip lengthens.
Young women have too much collagen in their skin and because of this they end up with worse scarring than an older person who has less collagen in their skin. This is why lip lifts were normally only done on older women.
I am 57 in December and it’s only now that I feel that I am really unhappy with the
length of my philtrum. I feel a lot of my upper lip has folded underneath as my upper lip lengthened.
My facelift and a lot of other work is scheduled for November with a different surgeon who does only face work as well, but I feel Dr. Mascaro is the best lip guy in the country.

I am very interested in getting a lip lift, more so than any other procedure. My philtrim length is around 16mm, and I have no tooth show. I just turned 41, and I've never had anything cosmetic done. I'm looking at Dr. Gary Linkov, he does excellent work.
I had my at 46, best decision ever. He’s great, but expensive. I’m glad I did mine 3 years ago and paid 3500$ with Dr. Azzi in Jupiter, Florida. Now his prices went up

I notice that many people who have had a lip lift cannot say ps or bs or ms. It is as though they cannot put upper and lower lips together properly. 😔

I would think the issue would be more cosmetic, in the mouth not closing fully... so you’d have to be a good candidate and conservative on how much you went up.

Dr. James Pearson doesn't move the muscle, just the skin. I remember you mentioned in another video that it was best when the muscle was also moved
I did it without moving muscle and I live my results. No more fillers only a lip flip with botox.

I don’t have any of those side effects but they can happen also better than a long philtrum .

For primarily lip lifts (like a lip lift expert) I would select from the ones I show here. For facelifts and more major work ; my surgeon is in SF ; Dr. Timothy Marten (the best for f/l and face work )
I rewatched this video a lot! I’ve been researching lip lifts since I was 18 (now 23) but always continued with the lip filler, because I feel like there aren’t seriously good doctors for this procedure in Europe... I had mine done by Dr. Westine in Delray Beach, FL and it came out excellent. I would say he is on the conservative side but I'm not sure. He may also do middle of the road...Dr Mascaro's work looks nice but he's more expensive.

Lori hi Love your channel so...there was an invisible scar lip lift done through the nose down into the mouth by a doctor in Houston Texas Why is mo one else doing it? Where is he? think his name was Esher? something like that . In my opinion based on what I saw every doctor had good and not so great results and what I would really want to see is what the lip lift looks like 1 year later not 1 month later, depending on the skin type healing of the individual
I had mine 3 years now and it still looks great. I wished I took out more skin though.

Since you work in the dental field, do you happen to know whether a lip lift will reduce the force balance of the upper lip and the upper incisors, resulting in more protruded upper incisors over time?
I’m not exactly sure what these terms mean; if you have protruded teeth then you need to address that first through orthodontics. Don’t get a lip lift .

All the best plastic surgeons are located in Beverly Hills and they're soo expensive! The zip code area and it's type of re$idents play a huge role on that. The best of the best are all in the same place, like...one in every corner. Not fair.
There are great surgeons outside of Beverly Hills. San Fransisco, New York, Seattle, pretty much any more center has good ones. There's really good ones here in Canada. If you travel to places like England, Australia you van find great ones. If you want great surgeons at bargain prices, then Korea is a very good option.
That's not true. They have some best ones in around the world. But for the liplift Dr. Linkov on the east coast is great.

I live in Argentina and I have decided that I will go for a liplift! After careful consideration, I think this would solve many of my problems without resorting to maxilofacial surgery. I am tired that my damn upper teeth don't show for dear life. I am 35 and want to age gracefully. This includes being able to show my damn upper teeth for once! For some, it might look a little bit funny but trust me, you rather look like this than looking like a depressed turtle.

Can you tell me have you heard of this type of facelift and if its something you did look into but went with the normal facelift. This is what I copied " The technical term for the Natural Lift is called the "Triple C" Plication technique. One notable example is his revolutionary Natural Facelift Technique."

the 2 facelifts I recommend are the deep plane and SMAS further than that I do not go; I trust my surgeon and hire them based on their education not on what technique they use. I do not go deep into research the way that you do; it is my preference not to; it’s the surgeon not the technique that gives a great result .

I didn't like 6:44 terrible upper lift results, before her upper lift was nice!
If you look closely you’ll see some rather obvious scars under the nose. also the scars are distorting the base of the nostril. if you look at the speaker as she speaks she can barely move her upper lip and she can’t pronounce words like “lip lift” without lisping so it’s apparently affected her speech. it’s a procedure I’ve thought about a lot but right now I think the cons are really outweighing the pros for me, esp the scar Smack dab in the middle of your face 😩even if it heals well there will be a slight line or an indentation right there and what’s the guarantee that you will heal well? And I know corrections are extremely difficult 😞
I think it’s definitely a trade off; in my most recent videos my upper lip movement is fine . The scar is much better too. A laser session will usually fix the scar .

@@julietteyork6293 I went to a different doctor and it went amazing…I don’t think you need the extra $ or fancy way he does it. This worked amazingly. Such a small change but made a big difference. After the proceedure I got filler and they are perfect now
