I like the basket
I’d have to sew a liner for the front basket. And probably the rear basket. I make a liner taller with enough of a flap to go back over the sides and snap into place to keep it the liner place. Usually, I’ll put pockets with zippers or snaps on the sides. Just got a heavy duty sewing machine so I can sew heavier fabrics like Cordura, canvas, heavy denim, vinyl, etc. Eventually, I want to make bike bags with the new machine. I have a fanny pack pattern to use for making a handlebar bag. I love toys, lol!😄
The thing that I wouldn't like about that front basket is the sides being as open as they are leaving a lot of space for things to fall out unless you get a liner that would cover all those holes. I wish they would make the baskets more user friendly without having to get liners and such.
You make a good point. Some of these eBike/trike companies have awesome baskets with nice liners, but maybe a different design that doesn't call for a liner that will get dirty easily? 🤔

The basket has an aggressive look to it. For the fellow with the lifted pickup he can no longer climb into.
I think if I had the HJM trike I'd paint the baskets and lower rear fender braces black so they'd be less obvious. I'm sure some people will like them being color matched and I imagine HJM didn't want to do what everyone else does, which isn't a bad thing. Just not for me.
Between this one and the upcoming Pro version you gave me a link to it looks like this brand might be some stiff competition for Addmotor, especially since the 2024 version of the Grandtan II, like the Pro version HJM is rear drive. If I remember correctly even with Addmotor's current Father's Day sale the HJMs are still at a lower price point. I'm looking forward to seeing the review and ride videos.
The front basket looks chunky. I bought a Bluewind saddle. It's the best I've owned so far. Thanks for the suggestion. There are things that I know, there are things that I don't know and there are things I don't want to know. Try the Hafny handlebar end mirrors. It works well for me. Plenty adjustment. I don't cut the plugs out, I use a flat screwdriver to pry it out. Often use a hammer or mallat to pop it out. If I want, it can be put back in later.

I have been pretty happy with my Blue Wind so far. I heard what you said about being out of stock. I looked on Amazon and their "noseless" version was on sale and there was a 30% off coupon. So I just ordered that one. It came out out to $29.77 with tax and free shipping.
That’s weird I just ordered that same seat yesterday going to try it because the black bluewind was out but I love the new Suntour seat post I thought the zooms were comfortable. This thing is awesome you need to take your favorite bike that you ride the most and put that seat post on it. You’ll see a big difference Richard Bad part is it’s 120 bucks. Ok great lil video 👍
