  • ANOTHER FISHING DAY WITHOUT A BOAT. I WENT OVER TO NEW SMYRNA BEACH TO TRY MY LUCK AT FISHING FROM THE COUNTY DOCK. I FISHED OFF THE SOUTH CAUSEWAY DOCK. FISHING WAS VERY SLOW WITH THE CURRENT RUSHING AT A FAST PACE. I ONLY HAD ONE HIT ALL DAY AND IT WAS ON A 8" MULLET ON A KNOCKER RIG. THREE OF US FISHING HAD THE HIT AT THE SAME TIME AND ONE ANGLER WAS ABLE TO LAND A NICE RED FISH WHICH I ASSUME WAS FROM A SCHOOL OF RED'S MOVING THREW.

I just have to say this is the BEST video i have ever seen because it’s realist when your fishing you never catch much! Every other RUclips video I see ppl catch fish back to back!! I go every weekend and I don’t always catch a fish .

This is definitely how it is out there BUT he'd be PISSED to realize just how close he was fishing to a honey hole. I've caught many whiting, snappers, catfish, and huge stingrays right there while others are pissed they only needed 1 shrimp because nothing would bite theirs. Key is being on the Right side of the current

During low tide on the right side of the ramp, there's almost always mullet just past the sandbar and around the posts .

I had a hit that day I think was a big redfish cause the one person down from me caught one at the same time

Im going to new smyrna this July. Do you need a fishing license to fish from the pier? Thanks

    • @oceandeepfishing4555
      @oceandeepfishing4555  2 года назад +1

Yes you do need a salt water fishing license to fish there.
Also I would down load a fishing rules app to have on your phone. Regulations might of changed since you last fished there for size and how many you can harvest.
Good Luck. Hope you can catch some dinner.

Just left a surfcast session at NSB. Tide was coming in, fast rip down the beach. Used fish bites off the bottom, but no luck

Unfortunately that happens time to time.
I just fished at playlinda Beach the other day. Caught a couple but not what I thought I would do.
Video coming out soon so don't want to spoil it.

Definitely have to try that place again. Was a really nice spot I thought but didn't catch anything. But lost a big hit that I think was a monster red fish.
      Thanks for watching.

Once I went up north and we decided to go to the beach. So we set up a blanket close to someone else's and when they came back it ended up being a friend from high school I hadn't seen in years.. lol

I'm not to familiar with new smyrna and the fresh water. I only fish salt water there. I know there are a lot of lakes west of New smyrna that I see people post. But if your headed over to Orlando, the butler chain of lakes has some great bass fishing and clean water too.

@@collegefootballfan7909 sorry to say I really can't help you out but if you go to Mike D jetty rocks fishing he does a good amount of fresh water fishing. He could probably point you in the right direction. He has a great RUclips channel. Give it a look and maybe drop him a message on where to go. Good luck and I hope you have a great vacation.

I hear you. I haven't been back since. I think it just gets to much pressure there. Once in awhile you might luck out. Now on those sea Robin's I've heard they were delicious. Might want to check into that.

Yeah it's to highly pressured with fisherman. Out of all that were fishing I only saw one person catch a fish. And it was a large red.
