100 HOUR SERVICE ON A F200 HP. YAMAHA
I've never tried crabbing myself but those crab sure due like stealing the bate when you're fishing
@@FishingWithLou Hello? There well, thank you for watching my video I do appreciate it. And yes, if there's crabs around, they'll take anything. Whether be in your trap or on a fishing line. Not much you can do except pull it away from them. If they're bad sometimes I use a chicken rig where the sinkers on the bottom and you have a hooked loop higher off the bottom sometimes that helped. Tight lines my friend and thanks for your comments
how far from beach?
@@USACustomGarage hi there. Thanks for watching this video and leaving your comments. At the time we caught these mahi we were out approximately 16 miles due east from port canaveral inlet.
I like this spot because I’m out of the sun or rain but I catch nothing but catfish and puffers
@@josepadilla5033 you just have to hit it the right time of year. Also it helps to move around from spot to spot. One concrete piling might hold mango's while the others nothing. Keep your bait as close to the pilings as you can. Big drum and shepshead can be caught too. Thanks for watching and your comment. Tight lines...
You can also take like a 5/8 or three-quarter inch nut and tape it in there and do the same thing
@@VernonEasterling thanks for your comments. I actually did that until i ordered the key i use now. Hopefully going to get that fixed soon.
Hey there, Just moved to the area from Bradenton/AMI. I’d love to talk and possibly go fishing sometime…I’m very experienced, have my own boats and know what a pain it is to troll alone…a lot better w/ some help…I also got some #s from some of my charter captain buddies. I also have my own boats, flats & bay
@@bigkahuna7955 Hi. Welcome to the area. Definitely would talk some time. Im still learning areas around here to troll. I lived here before years ago but lost all my numbers. So kind of starting over again. I cant get out for a couple of months yet due to a surgery. But if i can help you out with any info let me know.
Nice
Nice work. Question, did you run long positive and negative wiring straight back to the battery, or did you wire it with short wires to the positive terminal, and negative bus bar in the the console? I'm about to do this in the next couple days.
@@TheJoshGriffis hello there, So i just tied it into the power bar behind the console. Made life a lot easier. However, you can run it to the batteries if thats a better fit for you. Tight lines. Thanks for watching
Excellent detail! Good job.

.40 gap? I think you meant .04 gap. Also you didn't change your impeller in the lower unit.
@@user-ly8uo2wq5z impeller change is in part two
Why would you change the engine oil and not the filter that makes absolutely no sense to me at all
@@fishydubsfishing6516 I did change the filter, but I had to take it somewhere because I couldn't get it off.
@@fishydubsfishing6516 And the filter that I had to take somewhere was the water fuel separating filter. But if you rewatched the video shows your right plane as day changing the oil filter on the side of the engine.
So let me explain to you and any viewers that might be reading this when I said. I didn't change the Oil filter on the oil change. That was because it was a 20 hour. Service oil change and the Yamaha maintenance manual said not to change the oil filter at this time to change it at the 100 hour oil service. And that's directly from the Yamaha maintenance. Not something I made up.
@@fishydubsfishing6516 ruclips.net/video/PhDGVmDZJ5o/видео.htmlsi=FaJiEmCUCg3TcWtl
I've been a mechanic Mill right industrial maintenance all my life and I rebuilt engine's when an engine breaks in you're wearing off a lot of material as the engine seats in that's why they want you to change the oil all that material on the break in process gets trapped in the filter I don't know why Yamaha would not recommend changing the filter also if the filter gets plugged with foreign material from the break in process it will bypass and blow all that material into the new oil for people that don't understand how oil filters work these engines cost $25,000 now I would not try to save $20 on a filter
Flip flops? Flip flops! Flip flops!!! You cant do that in flip flops!!
But i did
Absolute menace
@@shlorp2643 LOL
I’m afraid to screw something up. Is it this easy?
Its pretty easy to do. Just take your time. Make sure you replace everything you take off. Im Definitely not a person that's mechanically inclined so I did it. I think you can do it too. good luck if you try it on your own.
I have the same truck, you think this would tow the 23ft pathfinder just fine?
Don't forget to change the filter too.
You missed the alignment of the anode before removal
I did look at it before removal. But I didn't make a comment on it. Because the new one doesn't matter without the fin. It only fits in one way. There's no fin to detect tracking.
I have some 135 lbs snap swivels should those be fine or should I got up
I think those will be fine for a number 4 or under. If you go larger, you might want to go to the 200 pound.
Can you use worms as bait for fishing ? What did you use ?
Not sure Worms would do very well for crabbing, but Worms would be good for freshwater fishing. But I used live shrimp to fish with from the dock.
Appreciate your videos Ed💪🤠🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🇺🇸

I got both at the Bass Pro Shop in orlando
Nice clean channel. Keep the videos coming.
Thanks for watching the video. Im trying real hard to put more content out but work and life have been keeping me way to busy. Its been 4 months since ive been on the boat or gone dock fishing. Hopefully soon ill get a break to go tight lines
So it's hard to tell exactly, but the lower unit There is a small bolt that has a square nut that fits into an inset. that square nut. You have to put in to that inset before you screw. The screw in or the screw has nothing to hold on, to. That's what I'm doing at that point i believe. The nut fell out of the hole when the bolt was taken off. Hope that helps.
Help!! The bolt that you start to take off at 4:12 in the video… what is that that you grab with your other hand.. is there a nut back there that needs removed? I just completed this service and that specific bolt won’t go on… is there a nut you’re catching there?
Also, that small screw with the square nut is very small. Probably only a 1/2 inch long max.
great video thank you. very educational. I think I am ready to tackle this on my own after watching this
do i need a saltwater or freshwater fishing license for fishing from one of the piers at the crystal river?
Yes. You just need a salt water license for crabbing and fishing on the public docks. However, if you fish around kings bay and catch like a bass you will need a fresh water license too if you intend to keep the fish.
Hey Ed! Nice video. I’m new to Crystal River and stumbled across your page. Tight lines 🎣
good day to you and thanks for your view. welcome to crystal river. crystal river is some of the best fishing you can do, if the wind holds down...lol this year has been awful to get off shore with the wind. if you have any question or anything i can help you out with let me know. tight lines
What's the spark plug part number?
To be honest i dont know. I just went to my local yamaha dealer and he set me up with them
This is awesome!
Good fish, man!
Thanks. Definitely saved the day. Was delicious too. Thanks for watching
where is this?
It's in Crystal River, Florida on. Golf island beach road from US19. You make a right go down about 4 Miles until until you see a city brown sign that says for the boat ramp on your right hand side.
That's supposed to be Fort island not Gulf island.
Good work, nicely done. 👍🏾
we're from Crystal River , How far did you end up going ? how deep was the water the Bonito was caught in ?
I only went out about 8 to 10 miles from the mouth of the river. Water was 22 to 25 ft.
Dolphin Fishing is only a shell of what it used to be 25 years ago 😥😥
Were we are only have to go 3.5 miles for 200ft we would run out 20miles 1000ft++ and catch 30- 35lb bull Dolphins all day long... After 10 or 12 more fish we were catch and release? Any thing floating like a palm tree or wood pallet would always have a huge Wahoo on it..
Thats one expensive fish because my guess it is at least 30 miles each way??
Was only 16 miles off shore. Fuel cost was about $50. To $60 dollars.
Good video 👍
Can only fish with two rods at one time per person I believe...look it up to be safe
I checked with fwc. They say theres no limit on how many rods you can use from a pier. Thanks for your comments. Tight lines....
If we only fished on the good days we wouldn't get many days to fish !
Nice catches
Ty not the best day fishing but better then work...lol
@@oceandeepfishing4555 for sure!!
I’m by no means a professional fisherman, but have targeted mango snapper for years, and you would have caught many more using the shrimp as live bait, not dead! Hook them under the horn where it meets the head, ( be careful of the grey spot you’ll see, that’s the brain), and the shrimp will stay alive a long time. Also, tie lines (leader and braid) together using Alberto knot. Using no swivel and the smallest hook, (#1) will produce many more fish. Mangos will hit dead bait, like your shrimp were after threading them on the hook, but they strongly prefer LIVE BAIT! I live in Titusville myself, and have fished that spot by the raised part of the Trussell, many times, and have literally loaded the boat with them! Hoping not to sound like I know it all, just trying to help! 24:26
