hello, i stumbled upon your channel a few weeks ago. GLAD I DID ! i've now went back started watching your sweet videos in order from when you first started. love the way you explain things, your work ethic, your family values. i wont ever be a trucker,, (i'm fine working on a receiving dock) but the way you share with us is great !
Hope you were home before that snow just north of you. Ran 55 from St. Louis to chi town this morning..... holy cow. Nice to see you post again as well.
Hey Dale I got my call from a Maverick recruiter yesterday, I am in preliminary stages of background and application processing, but I feel I am on my way to joining the Maverick family. Keep the videos coming I really enjoy watching them. Be safe out there.
Thank you Dale. My name is Olaf by the way and yes you can use my name. So I am guessing the beacon light's for overweight or oversize can't be just hooked up on any flatbed trailer so that answered my question very well. And I have to say I learned a lot about how to secure load's from your videos. So yes I am the guy which had asked you the question.
Hi Dale, I'm 25 and strongly considering a career in flatbed trucking. I discovered your channel about a week ago and started watching your training videos followed by the others, in order. They seem to be really transparent and objective about what I would have to deal with on a regular basis without coming off as negative. Most of your videos talk about where you are, what you're hauling, how you secured it, how long you had to wait, and your routes and timing. All of this information is very insightful. One thing that I'm wondering about though is how difficult is it to actually operate the truck for such a long time every day? How did you adjust to maneuvering the truck and trailer and remaining alert while driving for so long? Sorry for the long comment but thanks for reading, Chris
Glad that you find them informative. I can only speak to my truck and it is the most comfortable thing I have ever driven. I can only imagine how trucks were back in the day.
What’s your gross for the year. You are lucky to get home in the weekends All in all do you enjoy your job. I’m considering doing this drive oilfield equipment but not over the road full time like you thank you
my friend was hauling reels from Prismian in Lex sc to California and was stopped at the scale in Banning and they made him install coil racks on these reels. He tried to telll them that these were not coils and they said"tomato,Tomahhto" they want it such a way. Has this happened to you Dale?
I’m new to flat bedding I came from a tri axle and I wanna go back. I know nothing about strapping down not much anyway. How do I stop or prevent the binders hooks from twisting around the chain when cranking down?
Dale Clay Most fuel stops have the DEF nozzles on the pump on left side when you pull in the pump normal. Some truck makers leave it up to whomever orders the truck when new. So sometimes they end on right side of truck. I’ve got a friend whose truck is that way he always has to go thru pumps backwards.
Good to see you making videos again my friend be safe on the road

Good luck.
Keep on keeping on brother !
Hi Dale, see you are up to your old tricks. Driving down I-35. I remember you drove west of I-35 a year or so ago.
I like those rare instances. I 35 is a nice drive when not in a city.
Friday comment: Hope your are in the Southern Illinoiz area so you make it home for the weekend.

Nice Dale :)
Sounds like running long distances avoids the downtime of loading/unloading. Ever do financial analysis on this?
I agree, but without analysis.

I have a pay video somewhere on that very thing.

You ever stop at the TA in Wytheville, VA?.....it's near the I-77 and I-81 interchange.
christopher raymond Not sure, it feels like I have been to every truck stop at least once.
the two trucks that are backwards at the fuel island might be getting DEF. ....
Hey Dale what are those bungees holding down?
The munchies are used to hold the chains down so they're not flopping around loose.
Dale Clay thank you
Dose Maverick have any 53' flatbed trailers
I believe so, but very few
Why HELLO stranger. 😆
How do you like those super singles? I have noticed a lot of drivers seem to dislike them quite a bit.
I don't mind them at all. I hear they are more expensive but better fuel savings than to two regular tires.
110 volt , 15 amp shore power plug on that truck
You're approaching the 10k mark (& it ain't a foot race, lol).
I have made fewer videos too, perhaps they appreciate seeing me less 😯
Def tank on wrong side of the truck.

Make sure the screw shafts are well lubricated. That advice can also apply to other items as well.
pill28 Tri axle?
if ou mentioned your weight dale I didn't hear it, let me take a wild guess 42,000
49180
Does Mavericks have any good women flat bed drivers?
Linda Denny yes, I almost had a chance to interview one last week. She was picking up steel bar in Ft Smith Arkansas.
DEF on wrong side?
Is there a wrong side? Could be.

some KW and Petes are on the right side. makes no sense
During my last audio gram, the lady said I was def on boaf sides.
WoW you're out "west" compared to majority of your deliveries! Thanks for the video & be safe.
