The Knockout is the first knife I spent over $30 and is my favorite every day carry. It's light and the blade is awesome.

Very cool comparison. Very even. I love that the Kershaw came out on top because it's more affordable haha. That ZT is a spiffy looking knife though. Someday I'll have to upgrade from my Gerber's .

KAI USA is the parent company of Kershaw, ZT, and Shun Cutlery. ZT is the higher end all USA knives. Kershaw is the budget brand, basically. Shun is kitchen knives.

+PREPFORIT Lol Im never wrong right? I did it as fair as I could and the zt didnt perform at a level that I feel is worth 100 bucks more. I prefer the knockout. Yeah I rode a lot last year, life has prevented it this year but im making the get fit challenge a priority.

    Kershaw...cuts like butter.

What does cause the catches...as the knife cuts the paper.

+Glocked 17 there is always a microscopic burr on the very edge of the blade, use can separate them or push them to one side...example if you run a blade on a diamond stone to sharpen...the opposite side that you sharpened will feel sharper because the burr is pushed to that side. Using a leather strop with compound will push them back together and give you the sharpest cleanest edge possible.

I agree completely, I have the same knives and definitely like the Kershaw best. It has a great smooth flip out blade, but as you mentioned the Kershaw is half the weight and I can't feel it in my pocket and it has a sturdy no wobble blade. I was looking at a Red Knockout on" The Kershaw Guy"...$52.00 for a blimished one.

+Whitevaliantwarrior its my go to when I carry a folder. Love that blade. Thanks for the comment!

Sure thing, I have the Black Kershaw, but that blemished RED one looked awesome. I have the ZT301 and love this knife, but once again this knife is real heavy, and could cut down a tree and also has the smoothest bearing system for the blade deploy but when it comes to carrying a knife you can't beat the Kershaw for its light weight and sturdy blade. Plus the 301 is too expensive to really use.
      Keep up the good reviews.

I just got a knockout in m390 for $99.0] I really find it hard for me to buy a knife over 100.00 mainly because I lose them way before I damage them I've seen a few zts that look cool but are to big for me also nice job bro

I'm sorry but that zt 0350ts looks like a clone. My I ask where did u buy from. It may be the lighting but even the tiger stripe is a lighter color than what I've seen.

Extra $100 for the ZT 0350? I have the Damascus Knockout and only paid $20 more for the blackwash 0350. The Knockout was $120ish.

+David gibson I got my knockout for about 60, the zt was 150, then i had to pay 25 for a deep carry clip. The knockout is superior IMO.

TheLankyWoodsman I did the same. I hated the factory pocket clip on the 0350. I just got the Knockout but I am liking it so far but I can't say anything bad about the 0350 either except that the pocket clip sucks. I don't know which I would choose if I had to pick one.
