Jaywalking isn't actually illegal. It's perfectly legal to cross the street where ever you please AS LONG AS it's not within 30 meters of a zebra crossing.
You can drink and drive a bike without being fined. I live in Copenhagen and I've never heard of anyone being fined for that. Actually I've done it myself even on a tandem bike.
I promise that if the police think you are to drunk to ride your bike home, and they have stopped you for that cause....they most likely are right (!) and they would have urged you to walk home because they genuinly cared for your safety. In reality I, as a Dane, have never heard of any Dane that have been fined for drinking and driving a bike. However do not run a red light, that CAN cost you a fine.
Yeah as a copenhagener I can tell you we jaywalk a lot and even when police see us they don’t care as long as you are not endangering yourself and others 😂😂
been so many times in Denmark. I now love it even more then my home country The Netherlands. I love the people, food, nature, rest. But i have been more in the South west up to Northern region. With a little bit Ebeltoft region.
Jaywalking is never enforced, like never, and alot of people ride drunk home 😅 and they wont ask you to put your bike, they will ask you to walk with your bike home, and cyclists dont follow the traffic rules 😂 completely wrong video 😂 and yes i have been to denmark i was born in copenhagen 😂
People jaywalk all the time. Don't know anyone who has been fined for it
Well as a Dane, I'll jaywalk a lot.

Wierd, I have never heard of this, but I have only lived here for 28 years.
Since I never drink, I should be ok.

I love Copenhagen and cycling too. It's one of the cities where I could live.
I'm Dutch so I'm used to drive a bike drunk, no one will notice 😂
There is no way that Jaywalking is enforced in Denmark. I've never been, but in the countries surrounding it jaywalking is a way of life.
