    You oughta go after some Flatheads & blue cats on the GMR bub, below the hamilton Dam you can catch some absolute monsters, you can put multiple 40's on the bank in a season

      @@thecreekcrawler Def the kings of the river, get you a nice 8ft med-heavy action rod (smaller if you are going outta the yak) and an Abu Garcia 6500 or 6600. Fish for bass in the day cast net a few dozen shad at dusk & then get you on some flatties man.

      I mean idk how catching the biggest fish the river has to offer that can tip the scales at over 50lb could ever be considered “boring” but to each their own I reckon

      That’s pretty funny!! Creek mouths, eddies and spillways. All typically hold good amounts of saugeye!! I have a video coming soon where I hammered the saugeye on the GMR this past weekend.

    These baits work in big lakes?

    • @thecreekcrawler
      @thecreekcrawler  4 года назад

      definitely. I just normally use them for creeks and streams. You can catch crappie, bass and bluegill no problem on a lake with them. Target deeper water in the summer and let your spinner sink before you retrieve it
