Phenomenal set of videos David. Many thanks for doing them all. You and your team are doing an amazing job. It's so great having the three of you together to discuss and enjoy those wonderful trees together. Really hope you can get to the west coast again, and up here in Canada no less. Van Isle would have you back in a heartbeat. Maybe come with DeGroot in the fall? ... Also enjoying the rebrand of the channel. Would love the book .... but I guess we have to get the video to 500 comments first... hopefully this comment and like will boost it in the algorithm. :)

Great series dave. ! I would prob implement more age and carving to my trees along with the twisting and contorted style. I love the gnarly effect on his trees.i feel like dan has the ultimate connection with nature and i think to find that u have to go collecting. Alot of what he does he sees in nature and portrays these images that he sees in life of these very old trees.u can wire a tree, carve a tree ,style a tree but the trees he has u can tell has been withered away by nature itself and i feel like its very hard to duplicate that and that is why his collection seems soo special to me. I can see the old age twisted and contorted style of tree and its something i forget about because i have alot of young trees. Loved the stories and the walkthrough. Thank u dan dave and the whole team.

Did I miss the giveaway? What a fantastic series. Thanks so much. I am really interested in his idea of pruning later in the season, I am very keen to experiment with that. Also I'm absolutely going to look for a stone to plant a tree in now. Some of those stones I wouldn't have believed could support a tree as thick as he has on them. Very inspiring. I'll end up rewatching this many times.

Amazing those trees only get potted up once, never repotting seems so unreal to me, especially now, heading into spring repotting season, it's a very busy time of year for every bonsai artist that I know. A very unique practice that seems like it's worked well for him!
