- The day started out with a call from the neighbor saying that he thought lighting had struck our fence post & it was burnt up. Full work day right here. Did the hydraulic hose bust? You sure could use an auger attachment for the tractor to dig fence holes in that hard ground. The fire area just looked like a fire pit to me but hey, maybe lightning? lol 😂
The bad thing is I have an auger for tractor just didn’t have a tractor to put it on. The only tractor we had was the Kubota and didn’t want to unhook hay cutter
Most definitely his trash got out of control…that’s a no brainer! Shady of him not to see that & offer to cover the expense to repair fence.

I have to agree with everyone else, I say fire burnt the fence post. Neighbor was wrong not to help you replace the poles or offer to pay for them or your time to replace them.
I agree. He already burnt the pasture off last year from same burn pile during a burn ban smh
