What is with the yoga skeletons? lol I agree. The decoration you got was cute. I liked the projector at Walmart with the neon colors - that was cool.
I think that squirrel statue Kitra ended up buying is super cute!! Reminds me of the carved figures behind the pipe organ one of the dwarves were playing in Snow White!!

I 💖💖💖💖LOVE that their is Christmas stuff out. My family doesn't celebrate Halloween. I do like some of the decorations like pumpkins and creepy creatures you normally can't find unless it us near Halloween. I also love the candy they come out with. My favorite is candy corn and candy pumpkins.
Yep, Halloween shopping starts as soon as Back-to-School is done in August. Then by October it is well into the Christmas season (Christmas ornaments start in July for Hallmark and the Disney Store shortly after). Sad, but true 🎃🎄
Welcome to the new world of retail scheduling. They are trying to dissuade trick or treat, and trunk or treat, but I think the 10 foot social distance PVC candy slides people are making are pretty clever. You could even deliver candy from a second story with that! Trunk or treat is where you decorate the hatchback of your suv or trunk of your car in a diorama, and then the kids come by to see it. In an open air parking lot? That seems ok to me, especially if people park in every other space. The frankenstein projector was awesome! I liked the doorbell too. Animal totem stack was sweet, and so was Peter.

A lot of the Halloween decor shopping videos I've been watching started in July and August. Maybe try Target dollar spot? Target also had the Spooky plants you were looking for but they may be out of stock by now. Ghoulish Garden I think theirs are called... might have some online perhaps?
If you have the Michaels app, they usually have coupons that stack 20% on a discount. I collect Christmas village houses and get them late in the xmas season.
I think there was hope that Halloween would be a big event, but seems to have been subdued by the state not the allowing the amusement parks to open up. That seems to make a big difference. They are probably counting on Christmas to save the year. You didn't fail. You showed us where not to go for our Halloween fix. Thanks for the adventure.

the custom here in Puerto Rico is that it says that Christmas begins in September. Since Halloween is a custom, almost no one celebrates it much. but with the pandemic I don't know what will happen.🤔🧐
Kitra, I've literally been looking for those dang magical carnivorous plants for about a month now. They're selling out like hotcakes. A popular RUclipsr did a video about a month ago about them. She talked about how they're a great bang for your buck. I suspect that's the reason for the lack of availability.
Hobby Lobby down here in San Diego had a decent supply of Halloween stuff, but it was mostly back in August or so....I’d check out Spirit if I were you

@Ordinary Adventures Yes, I learned that the hard way. And then they are REALLY hard to find later on because they have an entirely new collection every year. You can still find old collections online (I’ve gotten a few pieces on amazon), but they’re so much more expensive then. 😩
