    That massive cloud formation behind you causes one concern of tornadoes. I’d be seeking shelter in that huge cave especially with lightening striking all around and increased cooler winds.🌪

    This episode came at the perfect time!! We are heading to Petit Jean State Park tomorrow. One of the things I am going to do is visit the Antique Car Museum and hope that the AC is working really good!!!! Great video. There are a LOT of overlooks to enjoy and you presented the ones you visited very well. Thanks for sharing.

    my favorite other thing on petit jean is the west overlook where you can see flood mountain mtn nebo and magazine. pretty freakin sick

    This is a fabulous spot for a sunset as well :) We camped here before. It is awesome. There were good suggestions. We were there in October. Combined Cedar Falls, Boy Scout, and wound up at Bear Caves. Cool place to visit for sure.

    Yes, you had a storm and a rainbow to add to the excitement. Those Rocks are so amazing to me. I have grown to love geology, It instills a sense of wonder and awe in me when I see awesome landscapes.

    Great video! Petit Jean is my favorite state park! Incredible place to be in the winter months. Headed to Mt Magazine in a week and a half, can’t wait to check out that pond you showed in your video a couple of weeks ago!

    Beautiful hikes they look like ones I could definitely do. They're going on my bucket list. In Arkansas we may have to endure the humidity but just look at all of the lush green everywhere.

    I did the Ranger led walk at Bear Cave and recommend. Right by the cave he showed how you can yell out echo and it will bounce back. I missed the second cave. I also did seven hollow trails and it definitely was harder as it got warmer

    Surprised you did not take any kind of survival gear at all....like water, maybe some kind of food, phone...as people watching you might go off trail and get lost. and no way of calling for help, etc... hot day and no water...etc... just a suggestion...thanks... 👍👍

      Water and phone was present! Trails are short enough and well traveled that you will most likely not be alone!

    The trail to the waterfall is of course harder going up than down. A bit long too. They used to have horse back riding there also not sure if they still do. A heads up, if you hate spiders you might not want to walk the trail to the fall because there’s hundreds of daddy long legs all huddled together on the big rocks.
