Thanks for the video. I think you might be the first to put out a vid to show how to change the tire. I just got my Pint. Still learning how to ride it. I'm a diy'er, I would rather fix it myself, instead of bringing it to a shop or sending somewhere to get it repaired.
What is that step at 8:52 ? You used some kind of machine to seat the tire but didn't mention it. Is it necessary to buy another machine just to do this? And what about all that glue you wiped off? Is it not necessary to use lubricant or glue or anything?
Mike V neither am I. It seems like a very painful process but thankfully you don’t have to do it often. Apparently those big middle axel screws are very custom and if you strip them your screwed so be careful when you do change it.
SolarizeYourLife yes there is, i dont know what its called but im pretty sure flight fins are gonna be selling one, i saw them at floatlife fest and they had a pint with a treaded tire and flight fins and every thing, i hadnt seen one like it before.
I tried a Hoosier 5.5 treaded. Had to spread the module out to fit it. Didn't care much for it. My friend has a FF treaded Hoosier on that is pretty decent.

Thanks for the video. I just used it to break down my Pint for a flight.
Good idea!!!
This video really helped us today!

"that's the goo" love it.
Awesome video thanks for the content!
Hey Sonny! Thanks for the video!
Your website says you're on vacation. Are you taking orders for kits?
It's back on. yes I am. Thanks.
Thank you!
Don’t use a screwdriver to wedge between the bead and the tire. It’ll scrape your rims like he did.
Great video. Very clear. Thanks for sharing. I wonder if it's possible to use Tire Plug kits to repair a minor puncture flat?
Yes I use it all the time. I only replace tire when it's worn.
@@sonnywheels2373 oh good to know. What PSI do you normally ride on?
@@watchncarry9593 I ride mostly pavement at 35 or more. lower off-road.
@@sonnywheels2373 thanks for your help. Getting my Pint next week, and can already see your channel coming in handy.
Thanks for taking the time to create this video, it was really helpful. Can you tell me where you got your bead breaker from?

sonny wheels thanks so much!
How long did it take for you to pop the beads?? I just bought a Burris Slick and Im afraid to pop it lol
I just installed the Burris slick it took 80 psi to pop the beads
what is the tool bit to take off the hub motor? Thx
Could you explain a bit more about seating the bead?
xflow once you have both sides inside the metal part, I believe you just put air in the tire and they will just pop into place
Yeah it usually takes about 80 psi to pop the beads
Not looking forward to having to change my tire in the future.

So the battery and controller are under the front pad? What’s under the back pad?
Battery is under the back pad.
Is there an alternative wheel you buy for pint? Or are we stuck with the same tire???
SolarizeYourLife yes there is,

You might be able to find tires with treads that are the same size for offroading
Sorry onewheel, I had to go with this for same price....
