@@UrielManX7 that’s all just jokes bro. tbh from the beginning it’s been fun to see seereax win because he’s always going to be the underdog. Sam plays yugioh not just for fun but at legitimately competitive events and he places.
I can imagine Seereax picking up his kids and they ask why it took so long and he just turns to the backseat of the car and says "I was busy cooking uncle Sam" and they just understand completely
He just last an entire Month in a row tho.. he was getting cooked😅

I feel like the problem with this challenge is that the higher up on the tier list you go, the more you need hand traps and board breakers. Eventually it’ll just be a contest of who goes first
It's best of three though or best of five

I think that's more of a problem with Yugioh in general
@MasterMagus8 hand traps exist as a way of allowing players to go second. Similarly board breakers do the same.
Hand traps and board breakers are nothing new to yugioh. Raigeki is an old ass card and Maxx c (the best hand trap in the game) is from 2011. Lava golem isn't a new card either, and sphere mode is actually a God card.
I think it will be fine. Naturia is just a toxic archetype by design. I don’t think most other arch types will be like that other than kashtira.

As much as I do love the roasts across the board, I think my favorite thing about this series is seeing the level of respect and appreciation they give each other rise with every single duel.
Seereax turning the tables and doing what Sam has been doing is ingenious.

Sam was losing this regardless naturia is a nice stall deck but it's no where near on the same level as spellcaster support.

I ain’t gone lie. Definitely was one of the best duels. Grant it I love to see Sam get COOKED but for once he actually DIDNT TRY TO TELL BRO HOW TO PLAY. FINALLY. Bro way cooler when he ain’t yapping lol

These kind of episodes are my favorite ones, when they both know their decks and the cards they are playing! Hopefully we see more of these close duels soon!

You can tell Deion isn't really a Dark Magician "main" because he's not trying to rush to Dragon Knight to set up the Knight-Circle-ES combo as early into the duel as he can.

Eternal soul is just a target otherwise that is why people rush it. If you don't have it protected they will use it to screw your cycles up.

I mean pure DM and DM support isn't really a limited archetype. You may not have options outside of DM but DM certainly has more options than running 3 eternal souls.
Though I can understand why some newer DM players would want more than one for the fear of it being taken out, but honestly one is enough because you have so many ways to get it out, and can easily get it protected. DM has more options in it than a lot of other pure archetype decks.
Gotta hand you props for giving him the win game 3 even though he screwed up. Family comes first and you could tell he was rushing to get his kids. Great duels with great people!

Honestly after that ending. I commend Sam on not really giving but acknowledging that seereax had the win, he just couldn't stay for too long.
You can tell how happy Sam was for this match being really good in back and forth plays.

If anyone hasn't realized these two are actually solid with each other and the jokes/banter are played up to make things fun, the fact Sam didn't make a fuss with the RL Time limit and surrendered even after that last play is all the proof in the universe. Love you both.

Crazy that Seereax only summon Dragon Knight once in the entire duel.
Dragon Knight + Eternal Soul should be a priority in every Dark Magician board.

FINALLY. an even standalone archetypes. not only that, both are quite wellknown as well. this probably the best wheel duel so far. in fact, our host seereax is unusually full of energy this time.
Dark Magicians just need a way to bring out DM Knight easier to be more competitive. Maybe another archetype exclusive monster or spell that gets rid of a lvl 7 or higher magician in your hand, or a continuous or regular trap that pitches a DM or DM Girl to the grave for a negate. Maybe ditch a spell to negate a spell, ditch a monster to negate a monster, etc… If it’s a trap/quick play that can be activated in your hand to negate that would be the best.
While in a different archetype, branded fusion does it quite well
I like how Sam is like, "no no, me being unlikable is a SKILL nor personality flaw!" 😂

that was my favorite episode. I like when you guys poke fun and trash talk. but this was intense and it really showed you 2 were friends. you are an honorable man same for surrendering.
now tha battles are a lot more INTENSE! they almost even talk while dueling in this one
this ep might just be the quietest and most focus sam has been out of the whole 24eps.
It's nice to see Seereax playing with his other child for a bit so he doesn't feel left out when he has to pick up the other kids.
This is my favorite duel in this series, and in this tier. Back and forth as the duel goes on, man it gets my adrenaline going, because you don't know who's gonna play, and cards they have facedown on the fields it's exciting to watch and see ❤
Val's editing always top tier . Loved those call backs to previous Sam's shenanigans and Coach(Nat) being disappointed in Sam 😂. B tier pertty close to how decks are nowadays so, a lot of card switching etc per turn. So I wouldn't have been surprised if Seereax wasn't having it when Sam was trying to do his comboes.
Let's talk about how Seareax could've used his staple on pot of greed but didn't
it can’t be banned card unless the staple says it can be a banned card. refer to laval chain.
@@greeneyeballs Well, it's just a +1. Definitely won't win him the game by itself. While he has the option of monster reborn, raigeki, harpie's feather duster, forbidden dropplet, tripple tactics's tallent/thrust, etc much more powerful cards, of course he wouldn't choose that one.

Can we all agree that Sam's game-face mode is way better than his grandstanding mode? I realize that it doesn't have the most entertainment value, but it's nice to see him switch it up.
Monster reborn is the spell he picked? Idk i feel like there could have been way better options. I dont play moden,😊, so what could he have picked that would have been good?
Probably Dark Ruler no More? That would've saved him in that second duel and I always try to include it in my decks whenever I have space (and in every deck I have that is meant to go second, like Cyber Dragons)
Sam there is a difference between playing pure naturia, and playing naturia/runick. You were playing like you were expecting runick cards to show up.....
