Part 1 of my build for the ICM 1/32 Polikarpov I16 Type 10. This model is being depicted as a Republican fighter from the Spanish Civil War.
Part 1 covers the main construction phase and the initial painting process.

These are great kits from ICM, I've recently completed the type 24 (ICM32001), went together with no issues whatsoever!
Interesting subject. Looks like a fun build.
Good build and enjoyed the video
Fantastic looking build so far. The Spanish "Mosca" scheme is looking good. Certainly adds a bit of color to garner interest and get someone's focus.
Nice kit, good looking build so far!....Bill
Great job J. Love it. I love these type of vids plus it's not to long as others go on way to long and your sort of forced to fast forward so to speak sometimes and you miss parts that they do or say which could be great little tips etc. I'm hoping to do this type of thing for when I return to doing vids again in the new year. Hope you have a brill Christmas. Happy Christmas and a brill New year my friend. Stay safe buddy
looking sharp.
I wonder which paint manufacturer's shades are used inside the cockpit? Your build is great!
Looks like a nice kit for sure! You sure the lap belt isn't upside down? You got a left and right side lap belt and one that comes up between the thighs from the floor.

VIVA¡¡¡¡¡¡
How yo put the decals of gauges?
Is there any simple reason why you build so many Spanish Civil War kits?
Someone has to be interested in the history of that war.
@@scottgoodman8993 I agree but, there could be a stronger reason, who knows?
Donde puedo comprarlo?
Instead of doing extra algebra, trigonometry, geometry and calculus problems to become proficient in the language of science, I built model airplanes as a teenager. I am now an old man, watching my youth on u tube and have lived a worthless life compared to engineers or scientists. Beware the lure of airplane modeling to the teenage boy.
Also the fumes. Watch those fumes. They may addle ones brain.
I don't want to be that person, but this is all on you and not the fault of modeling. I build models like I'm addicted to them, often spending all the money that I have on them. But I'm also about to start university for a aerospace engineering masters degree and I'm halfway through my ppl.
Great stuff Scott!! Your priorities are well placed!! 👍
