Question as well there is a metal slug anthology where is metal slug 3 and metal slug 3 separately. Is it different games?

They are the same game. As far as I know, the stand-alone Metal Slug 3 release has less input lag than the version on the Anthology Collection. MS3 also has a different trophy list and some online stuff that isn't available on the Anthology collection.
