Sharing techniques to customize current action figures by painting or sculpting what is needed. Producing a figure the is either improved or just creating one from parts of other figures.
using the existing cape from both figures.....
heat and remove each cape carefully
DO NOT cut the wire on Hugo Strange cape - bend it onto its self
iron on the pleats or better yet sew them in.... cut the scallops deeper by 1/2 inch
you can reglue the cape with plastic retainers you removed.
for Batman 66 you need to close the gap in the cape by ironing on the pleats....or best by sewing them... heat the neck area and re-glue the cape... add glue to the neck joint not the cape..
allow both to dry at least 4 hours...

Thank you for the tutorial. This looks even better than other people' cape swaps.

The pleets make sense for Hugo strange but not Adam west Batman, his cape was litterally 3 panels and didn't have pleets!...
Hopefully we get at least one more reveal at nycc for at least 66 robin!

Thats correct it didn’t have pleats, but on a small figure it doesn’t translate well…you need the pleats to close the gap at the neck
