The attachement to the Alterous Arm is actually its original design as seen on Viral MetalGreymon X. The designers were inspired by the X-antibody forms when designing the Alterous and Sagittarius modes.
When you said you used your points at your local hobby shop to get the kit for free basically, I was like "no way I do that too a lot" and then I got jumpscared by seeing that screenshot of my local hobby shop's website. So we live in the same area then, that's pretty cool. It's such a great place, I love going in person especially
You can have more neck articulation, but you have to simply manually adjust the Grey Piece to not collapse with the body while you articulate it ^^ Great Review! Definitly my favorite Digimon kit, after all, this is my favorite Digimon.
Can a beginner build this I’ve never built a model kid but I been wanting to jump on this since it came out and now you finally done a review of it and I really want this figure
The kit is a bit complicated but just take it slow. Becareful with the wings and cutting the wires. They do provide an image you can use to measure it before you cut the wires.
Curious, I could've sworn that you already made a review of this kit. Anyway, rubber ducky! Always a high point in the video. I got this guy and the Black Luster Soldier arriving in the mail next week(hopefully) so I can build my own. So far, I agree that for a kit this bulky, the legs are definitely too thin. I think they really managed to hit perfection with Mugendramon (with the exception of the tail) and they tried to copy it with metal greymon, but fell a lil bit short. Gotta say I loved this version because the original really didn't have that much "metal" in the body to match the namesake, but this one is a tad better. I _think_ you can panel line the scales/veins in the body with a pour type gundam marker, I saw one similar example somewhere and the effect was quite nice. Last I remember, a brown one would get a nice effect over the orange skin. The head and the wings are the big focal point for me because of the added colors, they make my brain chemicals go brrr and are so damn nice to look at. 8/10 this guy should've not have skip leg day. Nice review Van. Ps: I don't really like Digimon 02, so I'm not that hyped about paildramon, specially because imperialdramon(the kit) SUCKED and it even got recolor in the form of paladin mode. I hope they can get this one right, but I will wait reviews to see if I actually want that one.
Good idea with panel lining the vains, I can definitely shade it in. I'm hoping the paildramon is amazing as well, so far the latest kits have been quite well designed.
Now that they have just teased Paildramom, i think we can expect then to just be unpredictable in the futute 😅 Still hoping for a FRS (normal) kit of Omegamon, and FRSA Ouryudramon to go with Alphamon.

Yeah this is a amazing kit, my own had only one problem which was the machine arm being lose, but a very very tab of super glue fixed it.
Just about to build mine so excited to watch this after work!

Amazing! Would this work with all Bandai action bases?
Most would be fine but keep in mind it's quite big and bulky, so some smaller action base may have issues holding the weight.

The manual has a visual ruler you can use to cut the exact range.
