- After yesterday’s tribute to #SPBalasubramaniam ( • TRIBUTE TO SPB | S.P.... ), here’s one more song of SPB, which is not often played or mentioned nowadays. The song is “Diwani Diwana (Deewani Deewana Anjaana Afsana)”, the title song from the 1984 film Teri Baahon Mein (a Hindi remake of the 1980 American film The Blue Lagoon). Music is given by Bappi Lahiri, and the lyrics are given by Amit Khanna. Presenting a vinyl extract from the CBS LP record of TERI BAAHON MEIN published in 1983 (movie release: 1984). Please bear with the distortion in sound esp. at the beginning because of the average condition of the record. The current copyrights are with Universal.

Not to hurt KK Fans, Bappi-da who is a Devine Disciple of Kishore-da, and never looked beyond Kishore-da for Eternal Songs, Just Choose SPB the God of Singing, when he had God Gifted singer in his Very Own Team....Bappi-da Knew this Song needs the God to Sing it for full Justice.... there are many songs in South where Bappi da gave chance only to SPB in Kannada , Tamil and Telugu... while he could have made KK sing in south also in 70 & 80.. but he waited for Busy Bee Balu, like all directors used to wait for months to get a song sing by him....
