I love how this video gets straight to the point and tells you everything you need to know about San Diego. Gives me plenty of ideas for our next trip! Thank you!
covered a lot but did miss a few notable items such as the mountain towns like Julian, hiking and biking in the East County, Vineyards in the North County, Casinos and Outlets nearby. Other beach towns, border area and things to do down there, just about all of the entire South Bay was not mentioned but of course not the most notable area but still things to see and do down there as well. Over all, a very good video that represents the city pretty well.
Really great video, however Green Flash brewery no longer exists. It's been a while since it shut down. It was sold off in December 2021 to a Colorado based brewery.
Excuse me for asking but do you know where the cody robosapien model is exhibited? I'm asking you because you go to these places to see if you know what model it is.
@@Voyagerhq There are so many things to do a few miles from the coast in San Diego County. Some of my favorites: Julian is great and a great drive to a pretty unique old west feel. On that path is San Diego Wild animal park is the closest thing to Asia and Africa in local San Pasqual Valley and is tied to the SD Zoo responsible for bringing world species back from extinction and a Mind-blowing experience. Microbreweries all over San Diego Such as Stone Brewing with its massive beer garden. Others of note include Modern Times, Ballast Point, Pizza Port, Border X, Pure Project, Saint Archer, Resident, and tons of others including tons of awesome wineries to explore especially further east and northeast Temecula like Callaway Vineyard & Winery, .Hungry Hawk Vineyards & Winery, Orfila Vineyards and Winery, Bernardo Winery, Pali Wine Company and many more. Lots of Indian Casinos too like Jamul, Sycuan, Pecahnga and Valley View plus many more. As well as Legoland California. San Diego Botanical Gardens. Elfin Forest Recreational Reserve up to the reservoir, Double Peak Park, Potato Chip Rock hike, El Cajon Mountain Trail. Escondido is "cruising on grand" and San Marcos and its planetarium and college scene plus a modern vibe, while Vista has a historical downtown center that is charming to walk around and is home to eclectic bars and restaurants. Also don't sleep on South county and proximity to Mexico. All of San Diego County is wonderful, separated from OC and LA by Camp Pendleton a real jewel area of CA.
Thank you for the detailed and well thought out response. I’ve added everything you’ve mentioned to my notes! I hope to start exploring some of these places soon. Thanks!
The best sunsets I saw were on the Amtrak Surfliner or Coaster between Oceanside and Carlsbad. Great video I am glad I visited most places you show since I moved here in October 2015 before COVID. I would add the Birch Aquarium in La Jolla,, the Chinese Museum downtown near Petco Park, and the Frank the Trainman Technology History Museum in University Heights.
I lived in SD for 9 years and moved away last December. This video made me intensely miss that city. I LOVED my time there. And I'm glad to hear your shoutout for Deft brewing. We were regulars there since they opened in late 2017. It was our Cheers bar and is still our favorite spot.
"Hidden gems" huh? I've lived in point Loma, off sports arena, lakeside, off mission rd by old Town and down by the navy base. I've walked that entire city and I've got to say. Ain't no "Hidden gems" the gaslamp district is too crowded with most bars I liked closed now, the out door mall is boring, the civic theater is cool and I've seen Wicked like four times there but the location itself leaves alot to be desired. The trolly is cool somewhat but has gotten kinda out of hand with the police hassling everyone. The beaches; well OB isn't anything special tbh and is the beach of the hippies bums and druggies. MB/PB are often too crowded, you can't smoke on the boardwalk- I'd know. I got a ticket for simply having an unlit cig in my mouth. I had no clue the law had changed soooo there's that. SeaWorld is overpriced and tbh I don't support them in the least. The ballpark is surrounded by bums and the like. Point Loma is essentially the territory of fishing tbh, so if you're into that then there's H&M landing, Fisherman's landing and I forget the other one. Further down there's the commercial landing. Not sure if it's still Driscoll's landing but it used to be. Not much in Point Loma tbh though.
One of the best videos I've seen covering San Diego's hot spots! Thanks!

Best video of San Diego I ever seen
Thank you for sharing👏🏽😘
Was there from the UK early may 24.... Very good, especially coranado.
Yes Coronado has some of the best views of San Diego and Coronado Beach and the Hotel Del are incredible.
I can't wait to visit San Diego.
Really great video, however Green Flash brewery no longer exists. It's been a while since it shut down. It was sold off in December 2021 to a Colorado based brewery.
Thanks that’s good to know!

What about the safari Park, some people say they like SD safari park more than SD zoo
I’m surprised I missed that, it definitely belongs on the list. I have other videos all about the Safari Park 🙂
