I'm thinking really close - overall many reviewers explain how close many good paddles are. These two models are very high on the review list this year.
Thank you for your question! So far, the paddles have held up well and haven’t shown signs of core crushing-certainly not like what I've noticed with some of the GEN 3 Joola paddles (which you can often hear across the courts). I've been playing extensively with the Pulse S, and it’s been performing great. We’re planning a follow-up review in about six weeks, where we’ll compare a new paddle to one that’s been heavily used to evaluate any differences in performance and durability. Stay tuned for that update!
You’re absolutely right-it ultimately comes down to personal preference. The Pulse S offers extra maneuverability and quicker hands at the kitchen line, which can be a significant advantage in fast-paced exchanges. What’s great is that it achieves this without sacrificing much in terms of control or feel, making it an excellent choice for players who emphasize net play and responsiveness. On the other hand, the Pulse V provides a bit more forgiveness due to its larger sweet spot. This makes it a better option for players who like to drive the ball from the baseline or rely on powerful shots to dictate the pace of the game. Both paddles are well-designed and capable, so the decision really depends on whether you prioritize quick hand speed and finesse (Pulse S) or a balanced power/control combo with a little larger sweet spot (Pulse V). If you have the chance, trying both might help you decide which one feels right for your game style.
Day 190 of liking/commenting all TPAB YT videos! Thanks for hyping me up even more for these paddles! Please do a giveaway for this series in your follow-up break-in video!😅
You seem very similar. Would be interested to have input of the female player that is present. If buying for my wife would like to hear this other persons perspective.
Thank you all for the comments, views and support! Excited to share with you all the code:

The hype on these is crazy! Sound so great.
I rarely would commit to saying this but i feel hype on these actually might be warranted…
I'd have to go with the V and really work that sweet spot range.
I liked the rapid fire paddle comparison at the end.
Nice review. The hybrid shape is exactly what I want.
We think so too! They are great for all around play. The more i play with the more i am really liking it.
Awesome review! I'm looking forward to watching your follow up video.
Thanks, we're really excited about the follow-up and hope it would be informative!
Great review guys!!
Great review as usual. I want to compare it with my HUDEF Viva Pro Gen3.
That’s a great idea. Both are fantastic paddles. The Pulse is definitely sporting some great new tech and it shows in how it plays.
Wonderful paddles! The hybrid pulse is perfect for me! i shall try soon.
Great review. I have a HUDEF Mage Pro Gen2 and want to demo the Pulse S.
You won't be disappointed - the Pulse S is a great paddle!
Great review! Looking forward to seeing the follow up video!
Thanks, we're looking forward to sharing the follow up soon!
you guys forgot to talk about vibration damping benefits.
how can I demo the Pulse S paddle?
Great review! Would love to see it compared to the J2K.

Thanks for the review. Do they core crush quickly?

Are there any reason to choose the pulse S over V ?
Faster hands, better shape and more aerodynamic predominantly. Along with less SW and Static Weight.

We appreciate that suggestion! I’ll be sure to have our teammate chime in for the next review. We plan on doing some follow up on this video...
