For future paddles, we're already seeing alternating layers of Carbon, Kevlar, and Fiberglass thrown in there. I think different cores are being worked on currently, cell sizes are varying. Of course the foam thing !! When you look at the world of polymers - there's a long way to go. Great video there guys !!

Very good review. I enjoy watching your other reviews on J2k as well as J7k. keep it up. About C2 -- price point is impressive. Dont know if production version is going to be the same or different. How is it going to stand compared to vatic pro. because with different surface and with similar price point its going to compete with vatic pro and similar companies. Honolulu does charge for shipping where as many other companies dont. I guees honululu should have free shipping with 7-8 days delivery option instead of 2 days delivery and $8-10 additional cost.

I am from Vietnam. I have a paddle J2k and very love it. I hope I will receive a C2 paddle as a gift on Luna new year.

I wonder what's the thought process going into the company making the C2. Seems like they are trying fill the gap for people who wants to pay less for a paddle that is close to the J2K. If the difference is so minimal (especially for novices like me), I would be swayed by the price.
