Glad you pointed that out, was going to mention it in the comments. Agree fully, it still feels like a very high quality leather, without the need for skinning any livestock. A "Care guide" with the chair would've been nice.
I'm in the market for a new chair and one of the selling points for me is that it's not made from leather. I'm going to check it out. Thanks for the review.
Sadly it does make a big difference. I bought a similar PU Leather chair two years ago (different company, very similar style of chair), and while it was perfectly fine for the first year or so, after that the material started peeling horribly, both at the seat and back and even parts of the surfaces that I don't even come to contact with sitting in the thing. But your video made me look up noblechairs and it turns out they make chairs with actual leather too. Considerably more expensive of course, but hopefully far longer lasting too.
The Tech Chap I spent $600 aud on a Vertagear PL6000 gaming chair...would spend it again in a heartbeat ;) It makes sitting down a pleasurable experience and I can certainly game for longer. I took spend 10hours + each day on it so it pays for itself really.
I bought a leather version about 5 weeks ago from Oveclockers and I totally agree with you Tom, it is very comfortable and great for my posture. However, I'm not keen on the head rest, it seems to push my head forward a bit much to be comfortable.
Own one since 2019. The posture is really good and I can sit all day and not have back problems or bad posture. It's also very firm which is good for keeping a correct posture but can numb your buttocks when you begin using it or after long periods of sitting, especially if you're heavy. It's important to get up from time to time. The chair structure and upholstery are holding up pretty well, even though it's white and has been cleaned with chemical products multiple times, it still looks and feels new. The aluminium base, however, scratches rather easily which chips off the black powder-coating revealing bare metal. The armrests don't jiggle any more than they initially did lol. Minor complaint for the tilt lock plastic handle which cracked but is still functional. Still recommend because I sit on it from 8 to 12 hours /day and don't have any back or neck pain, and ultimately that's what matters imo.
I bought this chair a few days ago and am a little shocked by its rigidity. I also have numb feet as you pointed out in your comment. Will it go away with time? I am very worried about this, as it was not a cheap purchase.
@@developerabdulaev4768 Numb feet may be due to sitting too high or poor leg posture. Try lowering the chair and/or relaxing your legs. And yes, you do get used to the stiffness and even begin to like it.
this chair is very good. 4/5 stars. Price: Pricey but worth it, you get a very high quality heavy chair. Why 4 stars and not 5 stars? this chair has 2 weaknesses: #1 the cushions are pretty bad, the back cushion gets worn out extremely fast and costs a lot to replace (around 30 EUR unless you claim warranty for annoying support contacts) and #2 the armrests unlike the rest of the chair are of somewhat lower quality compared to the rest of the chair, it feels a bit cheaper and is a bit wobbly. Overall still - a fantastic chair. I would also advice to only buy this if you are rather tall (MINIMUM: 180cm+ / 5.9 feet). It will be uncomfortable if you are smaller because of the design stuff like headrest, leghight etc will not fit if you are small.
I will turn 28 in a few weeks, and I must admit that I would need one of those chair in my setup too 😜! Also, it looks really good in black... I was wondering, how old are you Tom? Great video as usual ! Keep it up
I have a "NEED FOR SEAT' Gaming chair that I absolutely love! I paid a little over $530 for it. No racing stripes for me, but I did get the OSU buckeye seat! very comfortable and will last forever. Looks basically the same as your new chair, but in the Ohio state buckeyes colors. Thumbs up on a good video.

Good review. I am thinking about getting this chair myself. I currently have Ikea Markus but the armrests are too low for me. What is that desk you have? It look very spacious.
I spent about $250 for my cloth-covered office chair, but because I, too, sit at my desk all day, I would gladly pay more. This looks awesome, and thank God your butt is happy. I hereby dub thee, "Sir Happy Butt."
it gives you better posture than your old chair, but its still not a good posture for long sessions behind the screen. Gaming chairs are overall just better for eSports events, nothing else tbh
I guess this looks pretty good for a gaming chair but if you want a proper office chair that goes with the price tags of the tech you review or that nice workstation, I would recommend looking into office chairs by vitra. Sure they're in a totally different price range but they are comfortable and they'll still look great after many years.
Hi there, I was wondering if this chair is comfortable while sitting cross legged? My only issues with these gaming chairs is that the seating area has elevated sides which seem a bit uncomfortable for sitting in an Indian style. Thanks for your video! :)
Sorry but that chair is just too expensive for me. However I really want a good chair as my next upgrade to my Working/Gaming space. Do you recommend other chairs on the price range of 100 to 200 euro/quid
I made the mistake of getting a gaming chair. It's in the corner of my room still not being used. Sure it gave me great back posture but the seating part with those wings on the sides of the base push ur legs together. Now that's fine if ur a woman but if ur a guy like me, ur gonna want your legs wider apart so ur balls have space to breathe. Your only other option with a gaming chair is to widen ur legs anyway and and rest them on top of the wings and that just leaves them digging underneath ur thighs. Not comfortable at all. I prefer a open desk chair and a cushion. It's cheaper and its more comfortable.
Hey man, thanks so much for your video!!! All thanks to your video, I am really interested in buying this chair. As an adult gamers in his early thirties, I too desired a comfortable gaming chair that didn't look too young. I do have a rather silly question to ask and I'd like to get your input. I'm a big fan of the version with white stitching (same as yours). However, I feel the white stitching may turn gray over time due to it being a needle which can easily get dirty and may end up be hard to clean. Did that happen to your version? Thanks again for the awesome review! I've subscribed to your channel too!
I think the chair is something were you don't want to think about price. Investing a good amount of money on an ergonomic chair like the Herman Miller ones will save you a lot of hospital money.
Just wondering if you can get two more of those headrests with the nylon band. I'd use them on the armrests, they don't look that comfy. I often have my arms resting on those for hours on end.
