- As an ulra-geeky celebration of having a complete Jared Leto movie collection (I finally got Sunset Strip today), I thought I'd share another clip from one of those movies he only had a blink-and-you'll-miss-him part, so here's his scenes from American Quilt, together with María Celedonio (who co-starred in the Swedish movie 30 November - random fun fact).

Oh, my first memory of Jared and his beautiful blue eyes. I remember waiting for the credits just to discover his name hehe now he's an accomplished actor, rock musician, director, etc. Looking forward to seeing him win the academy award

For those who want to know what happens next, and didn't watch the movie.
1. She gets pregnant from the scene you just watched, and he abandons her. (Obviously, because there was serious consequences for people having interracial relationships/children back then)
2. She is sent away so the family can't put two and two together. She is taken in by a family and her story basically ends there. It skips to the future where her and her daughter turn out alright.
3. This whole movie was just downright depressing, promising young women who were pressured into marring/getting involved with the wrong men and losing their sense of happiness/individuality.
I only watched this movie because Jared Leto was in it for his first movie role. And yes, it is depressing how all these women ended up with the wrong man in different circumstances. This is life, no question, but people don't learn unless they do something bad.
Never seen this movie a day in my life and I figured this is how it ended

The only 4 I haven't seen so far are Sol Goode, Sunset Strip, The Cool & Crazy and the American Quilt movie.. They're all out of production here. Some others I found through internet, a fan sold them all, she bought them in America. Big fan of Jared & 30STM :)

He's very fun in Sunset Strip as well, bought it on vhs from the UK because the used dvd's are way too expensive. Then I got lucky with a factory-sealed, incredibly cheap dvd! Might sell the vhs tape, if you're interested in it.
As for American quilt.... well... the only bit of the movie I liked is the one shown here. ;) but it's very easy to find online.
