Blitz are one of the greatest bands of all fucking time. Unforgettably great songs with no frills at all. One of those rare just perfect bands in every way. Some may say after this album they weren’t as good or memorable but when you actually hear the material you know you’ve been missing out. It’s Oi, it’s punk, it’s the voice! Of a generation 👍

As a kid I had 2 cousins who lived in New Mills & I'd take the train up on Millwall away-days- one time after Lions actually beat Rams we snuck round back of this pub Blitz were playing at just to listen from the open door. After the first set a bouncer came out & was pushing us around trying to chase us away & Nidge' came out & told him to let us listen cos we were just kids not trying to nick booze. I loved those guys even more after that.
they were a great band, i saw them at preston warehouse in march 82, met charlie and possibly spoke to carl, really nice chaps, its a shame it didn't last long, i admire them for changing their style but the split did for them, great memories, still got the all out attack EP and the album

This band killed No Future record label though,got carried away with their punk success,tried to go commercial...No Future invested in Future records for them....Epic fail....2nd Empire Justice album was wank,soon as they lost Mackie and brought in Carl's brother,seen over excited in the New Age video,they were shit...No Future invested heavily,Blitz went for the dollar....the end ...
The band from the LBC was -- curtzm¡ze and the remotez. The drummer wasn't to good. He always hit the bass drum at the sametime as the bass players downward stroke note. Makes no scence. GasLight, was a song they played ALOT ALOT ALOT ; (
