Is he a copy cat?
IMO, The meanings/concepts behind the words are eternal, it's just used in a different generational language/slang.
I might be wrong, but to be "Sigma" is often executed as the word "Tough Guy" in my ancient tongue, that's basically a type of assertive try hard that's usually a guy that's just an arrogant fool with zero self-awareness.
Empathy IS the key to decrypting ANY language, so please don't be mean, or scared or this new world LOL.
Some are trash brain rot
Some are good and now a word that doesn't feel brain rotty
Like "bruh"
Sus is half brainrot half normal
It's just oh wait you forgot one annoying word "mid"
@jmanplays0 I hate how "mid" is used to downplay something/someone that's great but not the very top. Like calling an attractive girl mid just bc she's not drop dead gorgeous by fake Hollywood standards. Or calling an actual pro athlete mid bc he's not the absolute best.
@@InvigoratedSewerRat It is being used in the right context though. ‘Mid’ is literally just short for middle or medium. You use it when you think something/someone isn’t bad but also not great hence it/they are mid.
If it’s used in the context of an athlete take for example someone calling an athlete mid they aren’t downplaying the athletes talent they are saving the athlete isn’t bad but also not god tier but in the middle hence they are mid.
When talking about someone appearance it boils down to personal preference. I might think someone is gorgeous but you might think otherwise so when I bring a picture to you claiming that the individuals beauty is out of this world you would say they are mid. That indicates that you don’t think they are ugly but you also don’t think they are out of world like I claim.
TLDR: Mid isn’t used to downplay something/someone it’s used to indicate something/someone in the middle. Not bad but not good.

Yeah, i've been using this slang with friends and family over 35yrs lol. I just learned that all the slang we already used is just mainstream now. I still remember how weird it was back in the late 90's when I started hearing people use the term "Mack" to mean kissing instead of what I always knew it to mean.
