I went to public school when I saw the first Mad Max in the cinema. I guess I must have been 15 or perhaps the person who sold the ticket wasn't strickt about the age limit. It was wellknown in Denmark unlike in USA so when Mad Max 2 had premiere in 1981 people knew the character already and were looking forward to see the sequel. It was even better than I expected. Amazing movie!
I think people ignore the first one because it kind of jumped the shark in the second one, but because that film was so good everyone forgave it for being different from the first. Then everyone started saying "Mad Max is a post Apocalypse film series" and not "Mad Max is about one man's struggle against a society that's falling apart."
Fantastic video, powerful. I drove those big rigs for 30 years, really touches my heart this video. Also because in this video, when the film was made, the stunts are real!! There was pain, real pain. Hero's are the stunt men !
My favourite part is, when Max says to Fif: "I'm scared, Fif. You know why? It's that rat circus out there. I'm beginning to enjoy it." He doesnt say he is affraid from death, He doesnt say hes affraid from other peoples revenge... He is affraid of insanity...

Gas Town, Most vehicle designs are based on Fury Road, familiar tribes make an appearance (The Buzzards) as well the list goes on War boys etc. Insignias the new things we got are amazing, are a great followup after Fury Road So Max loses all of it in Fury Road but you climb back up to become Road Warrior once again.
